NetEase Games’ launched its 4th Global Festival for Identity V named Call of the Abyss IV. The Chinese major launched the festival on January 14, 2021. It’s a server-wide tournament based on match performances as individuals and as a whole clan. So far three Call of the Abyss Tournaments has occurred.
What is Call of the Abyss?
Call of the Abyss is Identity V’s highest caliber eSports tournament. It’s an esports competition that witnesses players from across the globe trying hard to prove their mettle in the popular asymmetric multiplayer title. There are 6 different divisions in the tournament with only one rule–Stop, and you’re disqualified. Players in each division fight one another for the highest honor. Call of the Abyss is divided into four different and unique stages. The first is called Garden Corridor where Club Captains will register their clubs to enter the competition. The second stage is Snow Mountain where registered Club Members can earn Global Festival exclusive rewards. Here, they will try to earn Global Festival points that will determine their ranking.
Only the top 50 clubs from each region will be able to advance to the third stage. The third stage is Wintry Harbor and it will become available following maintenance on January 28th. The top 8 non-invited Clubs from each division will net themselves more rewards and be entered into the Online qualifiers. The final stage is named Top Speed and here the best clubs will battle it out once more to determine the winner.
How to participate in the Identity V Call of the AbyssCan Esport Competition?
Call of the Abyss is available only to those from the 6 competing divisions. It includes Hong Kong/Macao/Taiwan, Japan, South Korea, Southeast Asia, and NA-EU. In order to participate, you have to be part of a clan.
