Once again, the Brazilian soil is going to witness the intensity of Mobile Legends Esports as the Season 2 of MPL-BR, i.e. Mobile Legends Professional League for the country of Brazil is going to launch in the second week of March 2022. Organized by MOONTON Games and Player1, the event will feature the 8 best teams from Brazil. The tournament is sponsored by TikTok.
Mobile Legends MPL-BR Season 2: Event schedule
The event will start on the 10th of March, 2022 and will end on the first day of May. Divided into two stages, namely, the Regular Season and the play-offs, MPL-BR Season 2 will showcase the best teams of Brazil.
The regular season will host the matches in a double round-robin format, in a Bo3 (best of three) format. Teams will earn points for qualifying for the next round. However, the points will be rewarded as per the score-line of a match. The top 6 teams from the regular season will advance to the playoffs.
Playoffs will introduce a hybrid elimination system, where the 3rd to 6th seeded teams will compete in a single-elimination bracket in Round 1. The 1st and 2nd seeded teams will directly join the others in Round 2, where the matches will follow a double-elimination bracket. The grand final will be in a Bo5 (best of five) format.
Mobile Legends MPL-BR Season 2: Participating teams
Three teams from the first edition of the event and five from the open qualifier will compete for head to head. The top two teams from MPL-BR Season 2 will represent Brazil in LIGA LATAM. The participating teams are as follows:

The event has been announced with a prize pool, equalling a decent amount of $30,000, to spread among the teams and players. The share of each team according to their positions are as follows:

Where to watch
