Mobile Legends‘ new season in esports competition has begun, coinciding with the conclusion of the M4 Championship. Since its inception, the regional leagues have been the most important component of the Mobile Legends esports ecosystem. We have observed a significant surge in the popularity of these leagues in the countries of Asia, which makes sense given that the majority of the champions also come from nations located on this continent. On the other hand, Mobile Legends is initiating a whole new league for the North American area, which will be known as the North America Development League (NDL) 2023.

The winner of the event will take home a cash reward equivalent to $500 USD in addition to the 40,000 Diamonds that will be included in the prize pool. Moreover, players from North America that are interested in competing at a high level in Mobile Legends and showcasing their abilities have the option to do so via the North America Development League (NDL). Emerging players have a great chance to get their names known and even make their way into the professional scene through this league.
How to register
Initially, each team will need the following information to register in the North America Development League (NDL):
- Team Name
- Team Logo
- 4-Letter Team Tag and Server
- Team Member Information (including Discord tag, in-game name, and Player ID with Server ID)
The whole registration process will be carried out through the discord server of the league. Before they are allowed to formally join the server, applicants will have to go through a quick verification procedure first.
After players have joined the official Discord server for the North America Development League (NDL), they are required to go to the “LEAGUE-REGISTRY” channel, write “update team” in the message box, and tag the “Tournament Manager.” After that, the Tournament Manager bot will inquire as to whether or not you would want to alter the information related to your team.
The Discord bot will provide you with step-by-step instructions on what has to be done in order for your team to be registered. Simply following these procedures will make your registration completed successfully. Make sure that the option to “Allow direct messages from server members” is turned on. This option can be found in the User Settings menu of Discord and has to be turned on.
