Nintendo has officially revealed a brand-new mobile game called Pictonico, and I can totally say this is going to be lots of fun. The game is scheduled to launch on May 28, 2026, for Android and iOS, and pre-registration is already live on your respective mobile stores.
Up to 80 mini-games will be available through purchasable volumes
Now, I will tell you the reasons why this game is going to be “weirdly funny”. Pictonico is a photo-based mini-game collection where you use real-life pictures, either from your gallery or directly from the camera. Now, see the immense potential this carries?

It is going to be so much chaos uploading it; you can literally do anything you want to here. Say, just giving you examples they shared, be it zipping shut someone’s mouth to plucking nose hairs, oh, you can do that too, it allows you to put any photo you want, including the ones from your deleted folder. The images attached will probably explain everything you need.
The idea behind this is also beautiful. The game is designed to create funny memories using old and new photos, and whenever you join your friends’ group or family, you know how to take the party to a more hilarious direction. Some discussions are drawing comparisons to Face Raiders from the Nintendo 3DS era.
Pictonico will include up to 80 mini-games in total, although only a small portion will be playable for free initially. The title follows a free-to-start model, where you can try demo mini-games before purchasing additional volumes.
Volume 1 is priced at $5.99, while Volume 2 costs $7.99. If you are interested in getting notified as the game launches, you can pre-register for the game on Android and iOS through the Google Play Store and App Store.
