On November 30th, in Las Vegas, a diverse assembly of esports enthusiasts and professionals from across the globe convened for the highly anticipated annual ceremony that encapsulates the pinnacle of our collective endeavors – The Esports Awards. Established in 2017, this distinguished event serves as a platform to spotlight excellence within the esports realm, celebrating outstanding achievements in categories such as esports titles, casters, celebrities, teams, and media. And in 2023, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) walked off with the Mobile Game of The Year at The Esports Awards. The globally acclaimed Multiplayer Online Battle Arena (MOBA) was also the finalist for Game of The Year, and Publisher of The Year categories.
Esports Awards are the annual award functions that are held all over the U.S. The 2023 version was held in Las Vegas with the last one having held here as well. Esports Awards hold an important place in the games industry and rightly so, the Award function aims to celebrate the success of video games in Esports for the year and recognize the upcoming games that show potential.
Mobile Legends wins the 2023 Esports Mobile Game of the Year award
In the Award function, the category Esports Awards Best Mobile Esports Game 2023 was the most awaited one. Although Mobile Legends took the ultimate crown home the other nominations for this title were also very top-notch.
As MOONTON Games consistently advances the trajectory of Mobile Legends, the game has inevitably garnered international recognition. Positioned at the forefront of this acclaim, the title, along with its developer, MOONTON, earned nominations in pivotal categories, including Game of the Year, Publisher of the Year, and Mobile Game of the Year. Ultimately, the accolade secured was the latter, yet its impact reverberates significantly within circles unfamiliar with the game.
