Mobile Legends World Championship 2019 is starting soon

Back in August, MoonTon first revealed about this and finally it is happening! And, as the 4 different groups have been set now, the first-ever Mobile Legends World Championship (M1) 2019 is all set to go on fire! The tournament will start from November 11 of this month in Axiata Arena Malaysia. 16 teams have embarked on this journey. But only one will get the crown of the MLBB World Championship!

Mobile Legends World Championship (M1) 2019 schedule

While the group stage of the tournament will take place from 11 to 14th of November, the grand finals will happen from 15th to 17th of November. From the 16 teams who are divided into 4 groups, only 8 teams will qualify. So, yeah it is going to be a blood bath!

The 4 groups consist of 8 direct invitational teams and 8 teams who qualified through playoffs. While MoonTon invited 2 teams each from Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines and Singapore and Myanmar got the invitation for one team each. There is only 1 team from North America. And one from South America.

Group B

  • Burmese Ghouls (Myanmar)
  • Axis Esports (Malaysia)
  • Candy Comeback (Laos)
  • Team Gosu (United States)

Group C

  • Sunspark (Philippines)
  • Todak (Malaysia)
  • GEO Esports (Brazil)
  • Evil Esports (Turkey)

Group D

  • EVOS Legends (Indonesia)
  • ONIC PH (Philippines)
  • Deusvult Esports Team (Russia)
  • 10s Gaming Plus (Japan)

Tournament Prize Pool

The prize pool for Mobile Legends World Championship 2019 is 250,000 US Dollar. The winner will bag 80,000 out of this. The rest of the amount will be distributed among the others. MoonTon is yet to provide the actual break up of the pool.
