PUBG Mobile has announced the second edition of the Campus Series for North America, which will take place in 2022 esports year. Collegiate teams from several institutions of the U.S. and Canada will compete for a decent amount of $ 10,000. The official social handles of PUBG Mobile Esports NA confirmed the announcement, although not much information has been disclosed right now. There has been an announcement of a new format, prize money, and registration date.
The Campus Series of PUBG Mobile Esports is a popular event among the students as it connects all the players of an institution along with a chance to bring out the best teams and the non-established players.
PUBG Mobile North America Campus Series 2022: Fomat and Registrations
Registrations for the event will begin on the 11th of March, 2022, and will run till the 24th of March, 2022. Players from the selected countries i.e. the U.S. and Canada can participate only. The event will follow a new format. Besides, exclusive giveaways will also be available for the players. More details can be found at PUBG Mobile NA’s Discord server.
The previous edition of the PUBG MOBILE North America Campus Series 2021 was concluded with the grand finals being held on the 10th and 11th of December, 2021. In the grand final featuring 16 teams, UNKNOWN ESPORTS emerged as the champions and took the crown home.
Prize Pool
With prize money of $10,000, PUBG Mobile did not announce anything else, other than the prize money and the registration date. But the format which Krafton usually follows for the Campus Series will not be followed in this event, as per the announcement. Besides, the qualifiers will be held online.
