PUBG Mobile esports is back with the next edition of the PUBG Mobile Pro League (PMPL) South Asia Spring 2022. From today to April 24, the South Asian competitive stage will witness nonstop actions and wild gunplay from the regional beasts. As per PUBG Mobile Esports’ new roadmap for 2022, this PMPL will be held twice a year. And the initial event is PMPL Spring which a later event will follow in Fall. The PMPL South Asia Spring 2022 will feature 20 PUBG Mobile teams, including 12 invitational teams from PMPL South Asia Season 4, and Top 8 teams from PMPL South Asia Spring 2022: Qualifiers. The 20 professional teams from 3 countries will compete for a massive prize pool of $150,000.
PUBG Mobile PMPL South Asia Spring 2022: Tournament Format
The event is divided into the league stage and the finals. The league stage will be held for three weeks, starting from March 29 to April 17. Each week will be separated into two phases of play. The two days of league play will be held on Tuesday and Wednesday, and three days of super-weekend matches on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
Twenty teams divided into five groups of four will jump into several maps of PUBG Mobile to face each other in a round-robin format. Teams will get 1 point for each kill, and after every match, they’ll be allocated points based on their performances in the match.
After eight matches of league play in a regular week, the top 16 teams will advance to the subsequent super weekend. And, they’ll play a total of 15 matches in three days. At the end of all three weeks, the top 16 teams will advance to the finals based on their total points collected from the super weekend matches. The three-day final will take place from April 22 to April 24. There will be 18 matches in three days, and one team will come out as the champion of the South Asia region.
PUBG Mobile PMPL South Asia Spring 2022: Participating teams
Twelve directly invited teams from the event’s previous installment and eight teams from the qualifiers will face each other in deadly fights. All the teams are from three countries (Nepal, Bangladesh, and Mongolia). However, fans will miss the season 4 champion wizzes with vibes as the team got disbanded last January. But, the action won’t stop because the big names are still in the fight. PMGC 2021’s 7th place holder Stalwart Esports and other giants like Deadeyes Guys, DRS GAMING, A1 Esports, etc., will continue showing their worth.

Where to watch PUBG Mobile PMPL South Asia Spring 2022
The PMPL MYSGPH League Spring 2022 is hosted by PUBG Mobile, organized by KRAFTON, Tencent Games, and NODWIN Gaming. The Livestream will be available on the official PUBG MOBILE YouTube channel of PUBG Mobile Esports South Asia and PUBG MOBILE Esports and Facebook. The matches will be live-streamed in four different languages; Bengali, English, Hindi, and Nepali. Finally, all the teams will fight heart and soul as a huge amount is waiting to be grabbed. Besides, achieving the respected position of the champion of the South Asia region is worth more than anything.
