Will Bacon Time be able to keep the title safe again?

The Thai professional league for popular 5v5 MOBA title Arena of Valor is knocking at the doorstep with 9 teams to show off their action-packed fights. Known as the RoV Pro League 2023 Winter in Thailand, the event is going to kick off on the 20th of August. With some big names and a call to a massive prize pool, teams will be fighting with all to win the league title.

RoV Pro League 2023 Winter: Schedule and Format

The event is going to set sail on the 20th of August. It is divided into two stages namely the group stage and the playoffs. The group stage will begin on the initial day of the event. All the matches will be a B05, followed by a double round-robin format. Each win will get 1 point to the winner. The top 4 teams will head to the playoffs stage. The group stage will end on the 8th of October.

With the top four teams from the previous round, the playoffs will begin in October. Matches will be a BO7 where a double elimination bracket format will be applied to all of them. This stage will end with the grand final and the naming of the new champion.

Participating Teams

A total of 9 teams will participate in RoV Pro League 2023 Winter with their eyes locked on the champion trophy. The top favorite Bacon Time has won the tournament a record 4 times, followed by another powerhouse Buriram United Esports that won the league 3 times. Bacon Time is the defending champion as well. The participant teams are as follows.

RoV Pro League 2023 Winter: Prize Pool

A lion’s share of ฿10,000,000 (approximately $305,000) is available for the teams as the prize pool. Based on each team’s ranking after the event, the prize money will be awarded. The allocation of each team is as follows.

Honor of Kings, a 5v5 multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA), is published as Realm of Valor in Thailand. Garena did it so that players can easily remember the game as well as it becomes less confusing for the players. The game is published worldwide by Level Infinite and is known as Arena of Valor outside the Chinese market.
