T1 announces its first competitive Wild Rift roster

Wild Rift esports scene is getting bigger

The South Korean esports supergiant T1 recently announced its inaugural League of Legends Wild Rift esports roster. They are the second LCK team to form a roster after KT Rolster. With Riot Games yet to announce a proper roadmap for Wild Rift esports in South Korea, we can already see the big esports organization of Korea jumping in on the Wild Rift frenzy.

T1 revealed its roster today that featured some of the best Wild Rift players from the region.

  •  JJong – Baron Laner
  • JY – Jungle
  • Core – Mid Laner
  • Haru – Attack Damage Carry(ADC)
  • PenGuin – Support Player
  • Jun – Head Coach

T1 in Mobile Esports

T1 entered into the space of mobile gaming last year by acquiring a local PUBG Mobile roster called “Xenon”. Ever since Wild Rift was announced in 2020, fans of the organization have been waiting for an official LOL: Wild Rift roster. The expectation was huge mainly because of the highly decorated and celebrated status the T1 League of legends team (PC) has acquired over the years. They are one of the most successful teams in the history of MOBA games.

Big organisations entering Wild Rift

From 2020, ever since the Beta launch of the game big organizations from all over the globe have been continuously Joining the Wild Rift Esports bandwagon. Names like Bigetron Esports (Indonesia), Nova Esports (China), Berjaya Dragons (Malaysia), Natus Vincere (Ukraine) Team Queso (Spain), Fennel Esports (Japan), and Team Secret (China) are some of the biggest esports organizations to venture into Wild Rift. We can also expect other bigger organizations like C9, Fnatic, G2, etc to jump with a European or US-based lineup once official details regarding their respective region are released.
