Japanese multi-games esports organization, Fennel Esports has revealed its Philippines Wild Rift roster for 2021. The Wild Rift division has been named Fennel Adversity and with this, they are trying to expand their reach in the Southeast Asia region. The team consists of DANIII as a dragon laner, DOMENG, POWER as a baron laner, LOSE YOURSELF as support, RAFE as a support/jungler, and ‘SHO’ as a mid laner. ‘ExC’ has been added as a manager who was earlier associated with Hammer esports, Team RRQ, and JukedGG. Fennel Wild Rift roster is the 5th competitive division under the banner alongside other popular game titles like Knives Out, Fortnite, Apex Legends, and Valorant.
Established in 2019, Fennel esports was focused on Knives Out but after a year, it has since expanded to rosters in other battle royale games, including Fortnite, Apex Legends followed by Valorant. With Valorant, the esports organization announced their entry into the Asian esports scene, signing a Japanese-Korean team, notably headlined by former Overwatch League player Lee “envy” Kang-jae. The Japan-based esports organization is trying to expand its base and its intent was very clear after it acquired the OP.GG roster. OP.GG consisted of Korean players including Dogma, Junghee, and Minseong.
Wild Rift esports scene is developing very fast
The League of Legends: Wild Rift esports scene has witnessed quite a few developments already. Apart from the latest Fennel Wild Rift roster, popular Teams like Team RRQ, Natus Vincere, Team Secret, EVOS Esports, Nova esports, Bigetron esports, and Noble Esports have announced their Wild Rift roster in 2021. Other teams are expected to announce their roster after Wild Rift’s announcement that the game will be released in North America on March 29, 2021.
