The PUBG Mobile Pro League (PMPL) MYSGPH Spring 2022 came to an end today, with Yoodo Alliance x 4Rivals emerging as the champion. The event’s new champion was crowned after three days of gunfights and dominance. The PUBG Mobile esports scene in Malaysia, Singapore, and the Philippines witnessed the emergence of a new champion, as well as the fall of Team Secret, a global phenomenon.
The Philippines is the newest addition to the pro scene of MYSG. The top teams from this event will participate in the PMPL SEA Championship Spring 2022 while the next three will have to advance via the play-ins.
PMPL MYSGPH Spring 2022: An outstanding event with much unpredictability and drama
From the start, the event was packed with nonstop action and drama. The top 16 teams competed across multiple PUBG Mobile maps beginning on the 15th of this month. With 8 frags, Geek Fam won the first match of the final.
From the next match, YA4R began to dominate. After day one, a chicken meal in Erangel with 19 frags helped them stay on top of the point table. Farang Lejund came in second, 36 points behind the winner. The following day, the squad won by a slim margin of two points. As a result, Farang stood at 191 points while YA4R was 189 points.
Dingoz Esports got into the top two on the final day, while YA4R topped the table once more. Finally, with a total of 246 points and 3 WWCD, YA4R was declared tournament champion. Dingoz Esports, Farang Lejund, and HomeBois took the final three spots in the top four. The prize pool for the event was $150,000, with the lion’s portion going to the winner. Each team received a fair share based on their final placement. The MVP award went to AdikLuq from Farang Lejund.
