He is a man of ginormous proportions and wields a sword that goes along with his size. He can also summon other Barbarians in a fit of Rage when his special ability is used. The Barbarian King is the first Hero that someone who is playing Clash of Clans unlocks, when they have a Town Hall that is level 7 or up. The King was first added to the game ten years ago, in January 2013, and has since been an indispensable unit in raids conducted across all Town Halls of level 7 or beyond. Here in this article, we will take a brief look at all the Barbarian King skins that have come to the game ever since he was first introduced all these years ago. They are as follows:

1. Gladiator King

The Barbarian King was the first ever Barbarian King as well as Hero skin added to the game. It was available as a purchasable item for 1500 gems in the first Clash of Clans Season Challenge Gold Pass back in January 2013. The skin gives the King the look of a gladiator similar to the ones in ancient Rome, complete with a Roman helmet. His outfit complements the theme of the skin to the point as well.

2. P.E.K.K.A. King

The P.EK.K.A. King skin combines one of the most loved troops in Clash Royale with one of the most loved Heroes in the game and makes for an item that has a bit of both. The P.E.K.K.A. King has the body of the regular Barbarian King but has partial armour and a helmet resembling that of the P.E.K.K.A. He also has a heavy stride and wields a sword similar to that of the beloved robot knight. The skin was launched in June 2019 with the Season Challenge Gold Pass.

3. Skeleton King

The Skeleton King skin is one of the most widely used and common Barbarian Skins in the game, due to its unique looks and design. The skin is everything it sounds like, that is, it gives us a version of the King that is nothing but just the skeleton, with all flesh and muscles absent. But that does not stop him from rocking his handsome moustache at all! This skin was added to the game in the October 2019 Season Challenge Gold Pass.

4. Jolly King

Released in the annual Christmas update of Clash of Clans, the Jolly King skin very well captures the mood of the festive season that he is modelled to represent. He is his usual bare-chested self but wearing a balaclava and trousers in the colours of Father Christmas. Wielding an icy blue sword, this skin came to the game in December 2019 and cost 1500 gems. It was available in the Season Challenge Gold Pass.

5. Primal King

Capturing the essence of an ancient and primal way of living, the Primal King skin portrays the King as a fearless fighter from bygone times. The Primal King wields a bone instead of his sword, with his right hand having a bear claw and his shoulder guard being a bear head. This sought-after skin was available in the Season Challenge Gold Pass and cost 1500 gems to unlock.

6. Clockwork King

The Clockwork King is a comical yet unique take on the regular Barbarian King in Clash of Clans. This skin gives the Barbarian King a look similar to that of a robot made out of wood, with certain parts being made out of metal, such as the helmet. The skin, which cost 1500 gems came out in May 2020 and was available in the Season Challenge Gold Pass.

7. Party King

If you are in the mood to bring a party into the game and liven up your village, the Party King is the one you are looking to have in your village. This skin came out in August 2020 in the Season Challenge Gold Pass and cost 1500 gems. He dons a bucket hat and rocks an electric guitar which he carries to battles and uses to destroy the buildings in his path. He has the appearance of a typical rockstar with ripped pants and shackles.

8. Champion King

The Champion King skin was released during the event of the 2020 Clash of Clans World Championship in order to mark the occasion. He wears a bejeweled crown and has a golden glove. The sword he wields is engulfed in flames, which is reflected in his Barbarian counterparts as well. The skin cost $9.99 and was available as a special offer in October 2020 and November 2021.

9. Pirate King

The Pirate King skin is the Clash of Clans version of the Neverland Pirates, maybe. He wields a pirate sword and his right hand has a hook attached to it while his left leg is missing and instead has a stick to support it. The skin cost 1500 gems. It was available in Season Challenge Gold Pass in November 2020.

10. Warrior King

The Warrior King is pretty much the same as the regular Barbarian King, with some changes made in the colour schemes of his attire when compared to the regular Barbarian King. The most prominent feature although is his golden helmet with a red plume flowing from the top. The skin was part of a special offer that came in February 2021 and February 2022 and 2023 during the Lunar New Year and cost $9.99.

11. Rogue King

For those players who have played Clash Royale as well as Clash of Clans, both part of the same Clash Universe, they will notice a start resemblance between Rogue King and Rascal boy. Rogue King has blonde bowl-cut hair and similar facial hair. The skin was released back in March 2021 and came with the Season Challenge Gold Pass.

12. Fierce King

The Fierce King skin is the only available Barbarian King skin that is of Standard quality. He has the appearance of a typical Viking or a Norse warrior as shown in various forms of media with his helmet and battle axe. He also has a beard resembling that of a medieval Norse man to go with his outfit. The skin cost $3.99 and was available as a special offer.

13. Jungle King

The Jungle King is a stone-faced version of the regular Barbarian King, and we mean it quite literally. He is blue-bodied and wears quite primitive clothing that includes a loincloth and a sling of beads. He has a stone sword and headgear, similar to ancient South American civilizations. The skin came in July 2021, cost 1500 gems, and was in the Season Challenge Gold Pass.

14. Beat King

The party goes where the Beat King goes, that is how charismatic and bright the Beat King’s skin is. He wears a shiny jazz outfit with a hat on, and he also wears party shades. Instead of his typical heavy sword, the Beat King wields a keyboard with which he smashes all the buildings in his way. It was available as a special offer in August 2021 for $9.99.

15. Golem King

Simply put, the Golem King is the Dark Elixir Golem we all know and love but equipped with golden armour, a crown, and a sword made of stone. After all the hardships the Golem is put through as a tank, it is only fair that it gets royal treatment every once in a while. This was a Season Challenge Gold Pass skin which was available in November 2021.

16. Ice King

The Ice King is the Polar version of the Barbarian King and has a chilled cool look to go with the theme. He wears a blue robe with a cape made of white fur. He also has a crown of ice and an ice-blue sword at his disposal. The Ice King skin was a Legendary skin that was launched as part of a special offer and cost a player $9.99 to obtain. It was available in December 2021.

17. Lunar King

As the name itself suggests, the Lunar King skin was launched to commemorate the Lunar New Year, also known as the Chinese New Year in January 2022. The Lunar King has the figure of a tiger, one of the symbolic animals of the Chinese New Year, and has long hair which is tied back into a ponytail. When he attacks, there’s an animation of claws striking. This Legendary skin cost $9.99 and was available in January 2022.

18. Shadow King

Released in April 2022, the Shadow King skin was a part of the Season Challenge Gold Pass and cost 1500 gems if a player wanted to get the skin. The Shadow King wears a leather outfit that vaguely resembles a poncho, a headgear that covers his face but leaves his glorious moustache untouched. He also wields a gigantic battle axe that he swings during battle to great effect.

19. Summer King

The Summer King is the Barbarian King skin that was released as a part of the Summer update of 2022, in the month of June. The Legendary skin cost $9.99 and was available in the game shop in a special offer. The skin portrays the King as a handsome summertime hunk, wearing swimming trunks and goggles. His characteristic sword is replaced by a surfboard that he uses to ram things with in order to deal damage.

20. Pixel King

The Pixel King skin is one of the more special skins in the game to date, regardless of how popular it is. This is due to the fact that it was released to commemorate a decade of Clash of Clans during the Clashiversary event in August 2022. It was included in the silver tier of the Season Challenge and was unlocked after 40 points. The skin is a simplified version of the regular Barbarian King with retro gaming graphics instead of modern 3D figures.

21. Clash Fest King

Now, when it comes to plain personality, no other skin portrays it better than the Clash Fest King skin. It gives the King a very classic look, with wavy hair and an olive wreath on his head, and a broadsword. He also walks with a strut which further asserts his personality. This skin was part of the Season Challenge Gold Pass and was released in September 2022, costing 1500 gems.

22. Magic King

The Magic King will definitely be on a list if it is one about one of the most popular skins in Clash of Clans. The King lacks his characteristic blonde hair, which is instead white with stripes of black and tied in a bun. His eyes emit a white glow and his sword seems to have been made from a similar energy that glows white. This Legendary skin was part of a special offer and cost $9.99. It came in October 2022 along with the Town Hall 15 update.

23. Beast King

The Beast King is the latest addition to the ever-growing collection of skins for the Barbarian King in Clash of Clans. The Beast King looks like a sort of zombified version of the Barbarian King with his moss-coloured skin and bared fangs in place of his canines. It was released in the February 2023 Season Challenge Gold Pass for 1500 gems.
