Popular Clash of Clans Esports event Clash of Clans World Championship 2020 recently concluded with amazing matchups and fantastic performances with ATN aTTaX emerging as the overall winners of the competition. In the final match held on 29th November, ATN aTTaX beat QueeN Walkers comfortably by stars to conclude this year’s event. While we discuss the winning team, we will also see other talking points from the event.
Clash of Clans World Championship 2020: Event Breakdown and winners
Group Stage Matches
From millions of players around the world, only 8 teams earned the privilege to compete in the World Championship Finals. These teams were divided into groups, where two teams from each group went on to play the Semi-Finals on 29th November. The finalist teams are listed below:
- ATN.aTTaX
- Darkest MuZhan
- eleVen Original
- H.T Family
- Ni Chang Dance
- QueeN Walkers
- Vatang
- x6tence
The 8 teams were divided into two groups: A & B. Teams from each group were pit against each other in a playoffs format. Two teams from each group: ATN aTTaX, x6tence from Group A and QueeN Walkers, Vatang from Group B qualified for the Semi matchups.
Finals Matchups
On the day of the finale, ATN.aTTaX faced Vatang in the first Semi-final match following QueeN Walkers vs. x6tence in the 2nd. Each match was divided into two halves, with each half played one after the other. The Semifinal results are given below:
ATN.aTTaX vs. Vatang (Semifinal one)
In the first Semifinal match, ATN.aTTaX beat Vatang by stars. In an eventful first half, Vatang was trailing ATN.aTTaX by just one star, but with a higher damage percentage. The fans believed Vatang have an edge if they grab the max stars in the second half, but things went downhill for the talented South Korean team as they managed just 8 stars and got eliminated.

QueeN Walkers vs. x6tence (Semifinal two)
QueeN Walkers emerged victorious against x6tence by winning on stars. Just like the 1st half of Semifinal one, the gap between the two teams in this match was also one star in the first half. But again, x6tence failed to perform in the 2nd half, giving QueeN Walkers a massive 3 star lead for the win.

Grand Final
In a fantastic Grand Finale event between ATN.aTTaX and QueeN Walkers, the tie was closely fought between the top two teams. Stadra of Queen Walkers started the final match with his attack against Lenaide of ATN.aTTaX. In the first half, the scores were 13-12 in the favor of ATN.aTTaX.
In the second half, the eventual winners dominated the event completely. They managed 15 out of 15 stars, thus taking their tally to a whooping 28 out of 30 stars. On the other hand, the runners could add 12 stars to their tally, which wasn’t enough.
Ast, Lenaide and Vale were impressive for ATN.aTTaX, as they got 6 stars each, while Klaus was the only player to get 6 stars for QueeN Walkers. Player stars breakdown are given below:
Clash of Clans World Championship 2020: Grand Final Livestream
A 5hour long Livestream saw many discussions within and amazing attacks from the participating squads. Carbonfin and Clash Bashing kicked off with the commentary with Mr. Banks as the main host. For the next halves and discussions, popular Clash of Clans streamers Woody Banks, Judo Sloth Gaming, LadyBGaming were in the commentary box as well. Community manager Darian also joined into the conversation a week prior and that was replayed in the Livestream for what was an already successful event.
