Clash of Clans brings a football-themed May 2024 season which has brought along a series of monthly events for players to engage with. Challenges play a crucial role in these events, adding an extra layer of excitement to the gaming experience. As the Clash of Clans season kicks off, we have some football fun featuring Erling Haaland and the fourth challenge, called the Ball Buster, has arrived.
This challenge is part of Haaland’s Challenge, for which I have created detailed attack strategy guides for the first three bases.
I’ve put together a comprehensive guide to help players successfully conquer enemy bases with ease, ensuring they achieve a three-star attack with this base. So, let us jump into the attack, shall we?
Introducing the Ball Buster Challenge in Clash of Clans
The Ball Buster Challenge is part of a new system of challenges designed as part of the Erling Haaland season, where you will encounter plenty of challenging attacks to counter. You need to collect a total of 35 Stars that will go through different rewarding tiers, and this challenge is the fourth among the challenges to complete the quest.
In this challenge, we are going to the basics with the Town Hall 8 base, which presents a decent challenge similar to the first one. However, the rewards are a bit different this time around. Successfully achieving a three-star attack will earn us 50 Ores since we will cross 11 stars once the attack is done with a three-star.
How to beat the Ball Buster Challenge in Clash of Clans
Since this is a simple base we can quickly progress since the majority of the players might have crossed this Town Hall level. The base is easy, but we will have to approach it carefully. First off, we’ll start by sending two Wall Breakers to the bottom left side of the base near the Elixir Storage, then another two to the top left Gold Storage to create an opening.
On the same side, drop the Barbarian King in the middle next to the barracks, and once he starts taking down the wall, be ready with your Invisibility Spell. Use one on each Army Camp, then use his Spiky Ball ability to deal with the defenses as well as the Clan Castle without triggering the clan castle troops.
Place a Golem on the sides where you created an opening. Send one P.E.K.K.A to support each side. Divide your Valkyries and Wizards accordingly, aiming to clear flanks and pave the way for the Hog Riders. Use Healing Spells where needed, and maybe a Poison Spell too. Once the path is clear, send in your Hog Riders with Wall Breakers to breach any remaining walls.
Rage them through the middle, making sure not to overlap the spells. Use Minions and Archers for cleanup duty. You might even have some spells left over, like the Invisibility Spell, which you can use wherever you feel like. This way, you ensure the three-star attack!
