Clash of Clans: How to beat the Friendly Warmup Challenge

Ready for a friendly?

Clash of Clans brings a football-themed May 2024 season with a series of monthly events for players to engage with. Challenges play a crucial role in these events, adding extra excitement to the gaming experience. The Clash of Clans season is in full swing, and the seventh challenge, the Friendly Warmup, is now here to test our skills.

This challenge is part of Haaland’s Challenge, for which I have created detailed attack strategy guides for the first five challenges.

In this challenge, we’re up against a simple basic base and we all might experience these bases during our initial days of base building. I’ve put together a comprehensive guide to help players successfully conquer enemy bases with ease, ensuring they achieve a three-star attack with this base. So, let us jump into the attack, shall we?

Introducing the Friendly Warmup Challenge in Clash of Clans

The Friendly Warmup Challenge is part of a new system of challenges designed as part of the Erling Haaland season, where you will encounter plenty of challenging attacks to counter. To complete the quest, you must gather a total of 35 stars, progressing through various rewarding tiers. This challenge marks the seventh step in the series of challenges to fulfill the quest.

In this challenge, we are going to the basics with the Town Hall 9 base, which is pretty easy. However, the rewards are a bit different this time around as it will be as per tiers that you collect by reaching particular stars.

How to beat the Friendly Warmup Challenge in Clash of Clans

This friendly warmup challenge is like a warmup for your Town Hall 9 attacks. Start by deploying a Barbarian Kicker to the bottom of the base, just to the right of the corner flag. This move ensures you take down the air defense, but don’t worry if the Barbarian Kicker gets taken down by the wall, it’s all part of the plan.

Next, use a Yellow Card spell on both Cannons on the right side of the base. On the top right-side corner, you deploy the Barbarian King to the right and activate his Spiky Ball ability a second after he’s deployed. This will be pretty easy as he’ll glide through the X-Bows dealing maximum damage.

Now, it’s time to shake things up with some spells. Drop an Earthquake between the first two X-Bows, then deploy your dragons across the bottom side of the base, supported by three balloons and a Rage spell to boost the troops. This move also ensures that the defending Clan Castle troops stay put. Send in balloons depending on the remaining defenses.

On the left side of the base, Rage near the Archer Tower and deploy two Giant Thrower troops to bounce through and eliminate the Air Defense. You can use your Freeze spell if needed. Up the top left side of the base, deploy the Archer Queen to the right of the ball and instantly activate her ability to take out the air defense, and clean up a few other buildings.

While the defenses are engaged Lastly, send in a Barbarian Kicker to take care of the Archer Tower and Cannon. Well, that will do it for you, since the troops will clear the rest of the base with ease.
