Clash of Clans: How to beat the Just Roll With It Challenge

Just roll and beat it!

Clash of Clans is here with yet another season, which kicks off September 2024 with the exciting TTRPG theme making its debut. With each new season comes exciting events, and this time, Clash of Clans has introduced its first challenge of the month, titled the Just Roll With It in Clash of Clans to beat. If you’re reading this article, you’re in the right place to learn how to secure those three stars with your attack.

Introducing the Just Roll With It Challenge in Clash of Clans

The base we have here is pretty easy, with a Town Hall Level 8 spread out while also bringing the flavour of the Clan Capital. With too many buildings, there is a threat of your attack slowing down, so that should be something you need to look at. However, as easy as it looks, the traps will present a big problem for sure.

The rewards will be distributed just like in previous challenges, with the team continuing their usual approach. There doesn’t seem to be any plans to change this anytime soon, as the makers have been repeatedly lazy in this regard. You will receive extra resources along with 400 XP, 25 Gems, and 1x Resource Potion.

The first thing you need to do is to trigger out the maximum traps possible. Start by deploying a Minion near the Builder Statue at the bottom of the base and another on top of the King Statue by the Archer Towers. This helps trigger and remove the red air mines early.

Next, break through a wall near the Clan Castle to lure out the Clan Castle Dragon, then spread your remaining seven Wall Breakers around the wizard tower section to activate as many tornado traps as possible so that your other troops aren’t affected by it.

Up next, target the same opening by placing a Rage Spell above the two top wizard towers and another below them. Deploy your Lava Hound, Baby Dragon, and three Balloons, then use Freeze Spells on the top and bottom wizard towers. Release around 10 Minions and use another Freeze Spell on the bottom wizard tower to ensure the defenses are taken out.

In the meantime, if you manage to eliminate the Clan Castle Dragon, a good move. If not, let’s move to the next step. On the right near the Town Hall, deploy a Golem and support it with the Archer Queen, and as soon as she lands, activate her ability. Here, the Dragon will come to attack the Golem, where you can use the Freeze Spell and Archer Queen combo to take it down.

Deploy two Giants and your Barbarian King next, and then spread your Minions across the bottom right side of the base as air support. Save around 20 Minions for later, as there’s a hidden red air mine near the Mortars. Again, you might miss out on some of the traps but do not worry. After the mine is triggered, spread out the base with your remaining Minions.

As King goes inside the base, here you need to be strategic with spell placement. You can use the King’s ability when he’s inside the base. Rage the middle of the base on your king and freeze the defending heroes, where you can see all the threats going down to secure a three-star attack.
