The third challenge of the new Season 47 Books of Clash May 2023 season is now live which is a rather interesting one and is different from the ones we have seen recently. Titled Boost Fields Challenge, it is an open yet restricted field without the bridge, which is kinda exciting. To pick some great decks, there needs some guidance for the players for which we will discuss some of the best decks that you can use for the Boost Fields challenge in Clash Royale.
Best Decks for Boost Fields Challenge
Players might be familiar with the Touchdown event. Well, this is somewhat of a mix of it and the core gameplay. Few spells in Boost Battles will be available in regular intervals which will be balanced on both sides, so picking up a spell would help in getting a boost, be it Rage, Heal, Invisibility, and Clone. This will work on troops only.
Do note that this deck doesn’t allow the Miner, Drill, and the Barrel which is okay given the game’s circumstances. Also, defending is difficult, so always just think of going for the three-crowns. Thinking these in mind, here are our top three recommended deck options in no particular order followed.
1. Bats, Mini PEKKA, Zap, Valkyrie, Hog Rider, Tornado, Executioner, Electro Wizard
Average Elixir Cost: 3.5
Our first deck is the commonly used Hog Rider + Valkyrie decks but with a twist favoring the conditions and a double spell. Given the event, we find it absolutely necessary to have a win condition, and troops to deal splash damage to protect from the clones.
This deck’s synergy is based on using the Hog Rider as the primary win condition while still having defensive options with the Mini P.E.K.K.A, Valkyrie, Executioner, and Electro Wizard while also supporting counter pushes. Using the Hog to activate Rage is a huge advantage, while the rest of the cards can be played depending on the scenario.
2. Bats, Arrows, Goblin Gang, Dart Goblin, Hog Rider, Dark Prince, Prince, Mega Knight
Average Elixir Cost: 3.9
The double Prince deck automatically adds a massive advantage reason because of their speed. They are quick, and if they can get a bottle of any spell on the arena, you can easily gain an advantage. Another advantage is that they both can be used as a defensive option or to support counterattacks.
Hog Rider remains a constant and can be a better option than the Balloon even though the latter has better damage. With Mega Knight, the deck is more aggressive on both ends, and this will mainly be effective when you hit the final minute.
3. Goblins, Arrows, Valkyrie, Ram Rider, Guards, Magic Archer, Pheonix, Baby Dragon
Average Elixir Cost: 3.6
Our final deck has some faster troops allowing you to reach the other end quickly. Ram Rider is pretty devastating for an opponent and is backed by the Valkyrie, Magic Archer, and Baby Dragon defending against swarm units.
Arrows and Goblins come in handy in plenty of scenarios, while Pheonix also serves in providing air support. Low-cost troops are a miss surely, but once you balance your attack with the correct utilization of troops, it will swing your way.
Final Thoughts
Well, this is something very interesting from the creative side, but to be honest this isn’t an exciting challenge. The reason because you have most of the battles in the middle of the arena, and the playing field looks very confusing. The advantage lies in some cards where you can easily stop the big push but they might also get an advantage with the spells.
As far as decks are concerned, they may not always work for every player, but if the cards are played correctly, tested and proven decks always work to your advantage.
