Shorty is a double-barrel secondary shotgun leaked a while ago in Call Of Duty Mobile and now, it’s finally in the game ripe for the picking. It is a sawed-off shotgun that is lethal at close range. Snipers will find the Shorty to be extremely dependable when players push them with automatic weapons. The legendary Shorty is available in the Omnipotent draw along with the legendary Ghost, and players have to spend COD points to get the weapon. However, if you are out of CP and want to unlock only the base version of Shorty, then you have to complete certain tasks in one of the seasonal events in the game. This highly rated Shotgun weapon – Shorty is now available in the Holger Strike Seasonal Challenge in COD Mobile Season 5.
How to unlock the Shorty in COD Mobile
Players will be able to unlock the Shorty shotgun in the game by completing the Sawed off Shenanigans Seasonal Challenge. Players will receive Shorty after completing the first 5 tasks of the event. Moreover, players can earn a bunch of other rewards as well just like in other Seasonal challenges. This seasonal challenge comprises multiple steps needed to be completed to grind and unlock the Shorty weapon for your loadout.
- Play 3 Matches in any mode– 200 Credits, 1000 Battle Pass XP
- Kill 10 enemies with any shotgun– Backpack 1- Helm, 2000 Battle Pass XP
- Loot 5 shotguns in Battle Royale (BR) Matches– 25 Weapon XP cards, 2000 Battle Pass XP
- Kill 15 enemies with any Shotgun Equipped with the Amped Perk– Echo- Helm, 3000 Battle Pass XP (Amped Perk is available in the Credit store for 2000 Credits)
- Kill 20 Enemies with any shotgun equipped with any charm– Puffer Punk Charm, 3000 Battle Pass XP
- Kill 15 enemies with BY15 shotgun equipped with and 5 attachments– Shorty, 4000 Battle Pass XP
- Win 5 MP matches with Shorty equipped (Shorty must be equipped in hand at the end of the match)– Rhinestone Frame, 4000 Battle Pass XP
The final task of course is a bonus that gives you a Rhinestone frame and some Battle Pass XP. Remember that these tasks can only be completed in chronological order otherwise, they do not count.
Equipping Shorty in your loadout
Once the Shorty has been unlocked, it’s time to test it out and to do so, players have to equip it. Shotgun weapons can be equipped in both Multiplayer and Battle Royale mode.
- From the game’s main menu, go to ‘Loadout’, located at the bottom next to ‘Clan’
- Choose any loadout with which you want to equip the Shorty
- Click on the secondary slot and then click on ‘Pistols’
- Click on Shorty and then finally click on ‘Quick Equip’ to equip it.
- In Battle Royale, head to ‘Loadout’ and then ‘Battle Royale’. Click on the ‘Customize Airdrop Weapon’ option and then scroll down on the left side to ‘Pistols’. Quick Equip the Shorty now in your loadout.
