The new update is a big one, as we move on into the main storyline again and have the next region and Ancient Cookie released this patch. The star of the show is no doubt the new Ancient Cookie, Golden Cheese Cookie. Golden Cheese Cookie is an Ancient Ranged Cookie in Cookie Run: Kingdom that is in the Middle position. How to obtain Golden Cheese Cookie in Cookie Run: Kingdom
Golden Cheese Cookie is an Ancient Cookie and hence can be obtained through the Gacha. Due to her Rarity, Soulstones will be available to buy after a few patches from her initial release in Version 5.0 either through the form of Shops or in Limited events. There are many ways to obtain Golden Cheese Cookie’s Soulstones such as,
- Kingdom Arena Medal Shop: Available exclusively through the Kingdom Arena. Players have to participate in PvP battles and ultimately win to obtain the Medals of Victory currency in order to exchange them with the Soulstones. In every Shop reset which lasts for 3 days, there are 1 Ancient or Dragon Cookie Soulstones to purchase in stock. Only one Soulstone can be collected in total during each rotation.
You can now pull for Golden Cheese Cookie and her Soulstones in the Nether-Gacha.· Collect or purchase Light of Abundance and use it in the Nether-Gacha.· Golden Cheese Cookie and her Soulstones will be available in the Nether-Gacha with an increased probability.· Once you have performed 250 Nether-Gacha pulls, you will be able to meet a guaranteed Golden Cheese Cookie.· Any Light of Abundance remaining after the Nether-Gacha ends will be converted into Coins.

Worship the Ever-Radiant Sovereign of the Golden City! Golden Cheese Cookie dwells in a gilded palace amidst the dunes of the Parmesan Desert. Cookies fall to their knees in exultation at the glimpse of her—body adorned with shining gold, godlike confidence, and magnificent wings.
A mere flick of her wrist forms a golden mountain, another, a river—powers only a god can wield. Her greed knows no bounds, as this Cookie yearns for more to call her own, from treasures to even her faithful subjects. Following her desires, Golden Cheese Cookie filled the kingdom with riches, flowing freely like cheese fondue. She could’ve had it all: her eternal kingdom, the pinnacle of opulence and bliss. If it weren’t for that fated day, that is.

For each enemy defeated, she gains an extra Spear of Radiance. The number of Spears can increase to up to 12 in total. When hit by the spear, enemies receive a debuff amplifying the Earth-type damage received. While Golden Cheese Cookie is using her skill, she harnesses her Light of Abundance and hurls the Spear of the Absolute to the enemy Cookie with the highest ATK. The Spear of Absolute removes the target’s buffs, deals DMG, Explosion DMG, and additional DMG based on the current number of Spears of Radiance to all enemies in range. Once per battle, if Golden Cheese Cookie is about to be defeated, she encloses herself in a Sarcophagus for a certain period of time. While enclosed in her Sarcophagus, she casts a Shield around herself. This Shield takes the DMG dealt to nearby allies covered by it and provides Knockback Immunity. When using her skill, Golden Cheese Cookie is not affected by ATK Speed changes and is protected from the Glitch: Data Corruption effect by her Light of Abundance. (Cooldown: 13 seconds) | When there are five or more enemies, she throws spears that can deal damage up to 8 times. Defeating enemies adds more spears, up to a maximum of 12. These spears also make enemies take more damage from Earth-type attacks. While using her skill, she throws a special spear at the enemy Cookie with the highest ATK. This spear removes their buffs, deals damage, causes an explosion, and deals extra damage based on the number of Spears of Radiance she has. Once per battle, if she’s about to be defeated, she encloses herself in a sarcophagus, creating a protective shield. This shield absorbs damage dealt to nearby allies and makes them immune to being knocked back. When using her skill, Golden Cheese Cookie isn’t affected by changes in ATK Speed, and she’s protected from the Glitch: Data Corruption effect thanks to her Light of Abundance. |

Best Toppings for Golden Cheese Cookie in Cookie Run: Kingdom
Golden Cheese Cookie has an assortment of Toppings to choose from depending on what you prefer in her build. Additionally, after the Version 5.0 update, all Cookies or non-cookies that are released and have ties with the ‘The Lost Golden City‘ storyline will be able to use the Radiant Cheese Resonant Toppings. These Toppings work just like the Moonkissed Toppings where the damage multipliers are boosted up from regular Toppings.
Golden Cheese Cookie is a Ranged Cookie her position is at the middle. As such there are two recommended Toppings to choose from depending on what you prefer in her build. Players can opt for giving her a full 5-piece of Swift Chocolate Toppings in order to reduce her Skill cooldown even further than 13 seconds (a full set will reduce her cooldown to 6 seconds).
With a reduced Cool down she can spam her Skill more consistently and hence provide dmg, buffs, and debuffs to the enemy team. Additionally, since Golden Cheese Cookie is a Ranged Cookie and deals a high amount of damage, a full 5-piece set of Searing Raspberry Cookie is another viable option that can be recommended. This can help increase her damage potential and dishing out high numbers.

Final Thoughts
It’s no surprise that Golden Cheese Cookie has put herself high up in the META with her busted kit and the varying amounts of abilities she provides to herself and her team. She truly brings the Rarity ”Ancient” alive now. The META is not very F2P friendly with how it constantly changes each patch but Golden Cheese Cookie seems like she will not be power-crept for several months at least.
