Cookie Run: Kingdom has released Version 6.1 Beacon of Truth update riddled with different limited events where one of which is titled “Secret Garden”. Players have to build a secret garden for Pure Vanilla Cookie by placing and merging decorations on a board of tiles. In this Cookie Run: Kingdom Secret Garden event guide we’ll walk you through the tips and tricks on how to successfully clear the event. The Event began on March 1st, 2025, and will last till March 12th, 2025.

Let’s give a quick rundown on how the game works. You start with a 4×4 grid that has 16 spaces. You can place a block on the board and the block will appear on a random space. Blocks can be Level 1, 2, or 3 when placed, and you can always see which block will be placed next.

If two same-level blocks are next to each other, they can be merged into a higher-level block, which will appear in one of the merged locations. Each new or merged block gives you points. Blocks can be upgraded up to Level 12.

When you create a Level 4 or higher block for the first time, you unlock a Collection Reward. You can also use the following items at any time, as long as the game has not ended.

  • Choco Rewindo: Undoes the last merge, or removes the last placed block. Can only be used 3 times between actions.
  • Slammin’ Hammer: Destroys and frees up a block of your choosing.
  • Gnome Blueprint: Place the next block on a tile of your choosing.

Game Over

The game ends when the player either presses “Retry” or if there are no more possible merges or block placements. Having usable items does not stop the game from ending this way.

Reward Shop and Collection

Once the game ends, players receive two types of rewards:

  • Highest Block Level Reward – Based on the highest-level block created. This reward gives Seals of Approval, which can be spent in the Secret Garden Shop.
  • Score Milestone Reward – Based on the highest score milestone the player reaches by the end of the game. There are 12 Levels to which upon each discovery lands different rewards.

Getting to Level 12 of the block is quite challenging but not an impossible feat. Before you start the long journey, save up the items you will need. It is recommended that players have 20-25 Slammin’ Hammer, 5-10 Choco Rewindos, and 5-10 Gnome Blueprints.

1. Plan your Board Layout

Firstly, keep spam placing blocks until all the 16 spaces are filled up. Then pick any corner of the board to plan your layout. This corner will be where you will slowly build up the blocks till Level 12. It is advised to follow a snake method by filling up the adjacent spaces as you work your way through them.

2. Control Block Placement

Having fewer empty spaces makes it easier to predict where new blocks will go. If the board is full but has many possible merges, you have total control over where the next block is placed. Don’t let high-level blocks get too far apart, or they will be hard to merge.

If high-level blocks are stuck in separate areas, you may reach a game-ending gridlock. If this happens, try to merge them in a small area and then remove them using the Slammin’ Hammer. This reduces the number of tools needed to fix the situation.

3. Use Square Spaces for Merging

It’s easier to merge blocks when they are in a 2×2 square space. Aim to keep these clear so that merging remains easy. Only start using items when you reach Level 10, until then avoid using up your items as much as possible, especially the Slammin’ Hammer. You can obtain the gardening tool items by completing the missions.

Final Thoughts

Since this game can take a long time, it’s important to pace yourself and take breaks when needed. Making at least one Level 6 block per run is a practical and efficient goal, allowing you to farm Seals of Approval without unnecessary effort. Ending the game smartly by using the retry option instead of forcing a loss also ensures a smoother experience.
