Diablo Immortal: How to hide the in-game chat box

Now play the game peacefully!

With the release of Diablo Immortal on mobile phones, many players have downloaded and installed the game on their devices. Within the servers in the game, players have the access to communicate with other players, either via chat or via direct messages through battle.net. Sometimes a player may feel necessary to remove the chat box in Diablo Immortal.

In those scenarios, players have the option to just turn off the chat and hide it to play the game peacefully without any disturbance. Some players may feel disturbing by this issue as constant chats pop up within seconds and not to mention it takes quite a space on the game screen.

How to Hide the Chat Box in Diablo Immortal

Follow the steps below to hide the chat box in Diablo Immortal:

  • After launching the game, head to the chat settings in the main menu.
  • Press the Chat option
  • Unselect all the different chat rooms listed under chat preview to not receive any notifications
  • Once these are all unselected, the chat window will still not disappear once you step out from the chat settings.
  • Exit the game and then restart it again. The chat section will then automatically disappear.

You can disable and hide the chat box by using the above steps. There are also additional accessibility options such as auto-play voice memos, speech-to-text, text-to-speech, etc. If you are looking to disable the number of spam messages on your game screen, just simply disable the World and Zone channels under Channels in Chat Preview. It will disable the constant stream of messages from all over the World. That sums up the complete guide to how you can hide the chat box in Diablo Immortal.
