Diablo Immortal: The complete Factions Guide and Tips

Learn how to join the Immortals and Shadow factions!

Diablo Immortal is a free-to-play ARPG game and comes with a hell lot of adventures and surprises to its players. Day after day, the game is getting popular among the masses providing a real-time experience to its players. Diablo Immortal consists of many modes and quests and also legendary gears and equipment for character development. Apart from this, you can decide to join any faction of the game. In our Diablo Immortal guide, we will discuss different factions in the game and how each faction possesses its benefits and rewards.

Introducing the in-game Factions in Diablo Immortal

Diablo Immortal has focused more on the PvP battlegrounds of the game in the mobile version, unlike the previous PC versions. The game offers three factions to its players who are looking to play in a team or with a team. The three factions include Adventurers, Shadows, and Immortals. Players start as Adventurers as default and aim for joining the faction of Shadows or the Immortals. Now, those not interested in either joining the shadows or the immortals remain as adventurers.

The players aiming to be a Shadow in the game can either participate in the Shadow lottery or can join through Akeba’s Signet. The primary goal of the Shadows is to defeat the Immortals faction in a PvP battleground known as Cycle of Strife. Within the Shadows, there exists a ton of dark clans which are potentially much stronger than the Adventurers. Although The faction has no limit in its player count, still it will be smaller than the Adventurers.

Talking about the Immortals faction in the game, this faction is the strongest among the three. Their primary aim is also to take down the Shadows in the Cycle of Strife for maintaining supremacy and to defend the Sanctuary. It is to be noted that only 500 players can be a part of an Immortal faction on a particular server. So in other words, this is the most difficult faction to join.

How to join the Shadows in Diablo Immortal

To join The Shadows, players need to go through the Bilefen Questline and also reach level 43 in the game. When completed with these tasks, they need to head straight up to Westmarch and learn more about the Cycle Of Strife to unlock the ability to become a shadow.

One way of joining the Shadow faction is by taking part in the Shadow Lottery. To participate in the shadow lottery you need to visit ‘The Mysterious Patron’ located at Tavern in Westmarch. It is to be noted that the lottery opens at 12, 6, and 9 pm daily for a maximum of 1 hour, make sure that you never fail to enter on time.

The Mysterious patron will give you a task to prove your worth in joining the shadows. If you can complete that task you will be able to enter the Shadow lottery and there if you win the lottery a confirmation mail will come to you. After getting that confirmation mail, go back to Mysterious patron for further tasks to complete.

Another way of joining the Shadows faction is getting an invitation from an existing shadow member. The existing shadow faction members can invite other players to their faction with the help of Akeba’s Signet that you acquire after you win the shadow lottery. The players you invite to the faction must have reached level 43 and should have completed the Bilefen questline.

How to join the Immortals in Diablo Immortal

Being the strongest faction among the three, joining the Immortals is a slightly tough process. To join the Immortals, you need to complete the Cycle Begins Questline and the entire Bilefen Questline, obtain the Timeworn Scroll from the Ancient Arena, and hit level 43. After completion of the Bilefen questline, you need to make your way to Westmarch and follow the questline to learn about the Cycle of Strife.

The primary way of becoming an Immortal in the game is by joining the Shadows faction. Note that this is one of the main gateways to take you one step closer to becoming an Immortal. By joining the shadows your primary focus should be to join a dark clan or to form one and climb up to the top 10 dark clans on your server and defeat the Immortals. From the next Cycle of Strife, all the top Dark clan members will become Immortals.

Another way of joining the Immortals is by completing an Immortal Quest. Once you have defeated the existing Immortals in the Rite of Exile, simply go through a True Immortal Quest. Once you complete the quest, you will be welcomed by an existing Immortal to join them. The last and yet the most difficult way of joining the Immortals is getting an invitation from an existing Immortal member if you are worthy enough.
