eFootball 2024 is undoubtedly one of the best football games we have on mobile and as it got new updates, we also saw new features such as Co-op Mode and My League making an appearance, and getting the best players and managers has found new value. The recent v3.4.0 update has to be one of the best we’ve got recently, which saw Position Training being added to eFootball 2024. So, in this eFootball 2024 Position Training guide, I’ll touch on the important aspects of this system and explain how to perform it on your players as well.
eFootball 2024 Position Training overview
You might remember the old-day Position Booster tokens which were in the PES series of games brought back in version 3.4.0 as a Position Training Program to learn Position Proficiency in eFootball 2024. This time, however, you will get the choice to boost the two positions of your player.
To understand the training, you first need to understand how your player proficiency in a formation works. This is represented by three tiers of proficiency in the game namely uncoloured, faded green, and bright green. Uncoloured indicates no proficiency, while faded and bright green indicate varying degrees of intermediate proficiency and high proficiency.
To help you understand, I’ve picked my base Salah card. The likelihood of acquiring a specific position varies, some positions being more common. It is important to pick a position to train that gives compatibility with current positions held by the player. If a player has already got a certain position, trying to acquire it again might happen.
In such a case, a target will have to be acquiring another position. Randomness is part of position training that will keep the player engaged and drawn deeper into play, but to be honest, I am not a fan of it, gives it a gacha-like feel. But maybe this is to ensure it doesn’t make it too overpowered. Acquiring all the marked positions carries the same probability.
Steps to perform Position Training for players in eFootball 2024
Well, coming to how you can perform this on your players, the steps are pretty simple.
- Head over to your Game Plan or Team menu, and pick the player of your choice.
- Before choosing, make sure the player has at least one intermediate proficiency/faded green position, or else you can’t use your Position Training tokens.
- Next, click on the player and select the Position Training option. You can see the available positions for your player by clicking the Aquirable Positions sub-menu before you go ahead with the training.
- You will be opened to the training menu, where you can have one or two slots to train the position for your player. Click on Add to go ahead.
- Use the token and thus the process is over.
As I mentioned earlier, if the proficiency you got is already bright green, you can overwrite it, but there are possibilities that you might get the same result again.
