It helps them reach one point from another faster than sprinting as this has no fall damage and one can travel pretty long distances.
Apart from this, it can also be used to deal damage to nearby opponents, buildings, objects, and structures by smashing it into the ground which will itself send the player flying and send them farther from the area of battle. The most effective way to obtain it is by opening Oathbound Chests. The hammer itself is an Epic rarity and it’s pretty difficult to come across that reality normally.
Oathbound Chests have the highest probability of having rarer kinds of loot within themselves. Some include two types of weapons, one being the Ex-caliber sniper rifle and the other being the Shockwave Hammer.
Oathbound Chests can be found in the medieval section of the map in areas like Anvil Square or Citadel. Players also need to make sure to keep an eye out for enemies when they do come across this chest as they would be waiting to steal the loot from them.
