Fortnite is an action-packed battle royale game from Epic Games. Players need to fight against each other on an island and survive till the end to become the winner. Fortnite challenges the players with new quests and challenges with new updates. With its new season now live, it has released a bunch of new quests and Syndicate Quests are one of such quest lines. There are several Syndicate Quests to be completed in Fortnite MEGA and one of them requires players to fix data receivers throughout the map here’s how to do it.
How to fix data receivers in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 MEGA
Fortnite has introduced the latest line of quests called Syndicate Quests. Players can complete these can gain experience points in exchange for which they will get rewards. One of these quests requires the player to fix data receivers all over the island in either the Battle Royale or Zero Build mode.
Completing this quest will leave players with 15000 XP on their Battle Passes and here’s how to do it:
- Step 1: Open the Quests Tab beside the Battle Pass Tab. Doing so will make a list of quests appear. One of them will be Syndicate Quests and which can be seen above Week 0. It will show several stages of the quests the players need to complete and at stage 5 they will need to fix two data receivers on the island. One of them is located at Anvil Square while the other one will be at the new POI named MEGA City.
- Step 2: Players need to reach the first data receiver. It is located at the top of a mountain situated east of Mega City as marked on the map.
- Step 3: When they successfully locate the spot, players will see a data receiver in a glowing heap of dirt. One needs to move close enough to it to interact with. And then they can fix it and one of the two receivers will be marked as “done”.
- Step 4: Players need to repeat the steps for the second data receiver which they will find southeast of Anvil Square in a trough between two hills.
After fixing both the receivers, players will see that their quest progress bar will receive 15000 XP and they will have completed the Stage 5 Syndicate Quest. Players will be then able to hear the Peace Syndicate introducing themselves to the players who will be educating them about the new season.
