Fortnite has been famous for introducing various movie characters to the game. Now the game is introducing an unlockable skin of Prowler, a villain from Marvel’s Spiderman series. Prowler hasn’t appeared in the live-action movies yet but has been both an ally and villain in the comics and the Spider-Man: Miles Morales game. Players will be able to unlock the Prowler skin in Fortnite after completing a set of quests.
How to unlock Prowler skin in Fortnite
The battle pass in Chapter 3 of Season 2 features Marvel’s Doctor Strange and Prowler. To unlock Prowler’s skin, players must have a battle pass. Upon buying a battle pass, players will have to complete at least 3 out of 8 quests to unlock the skin.
Since the players need to buy a battle pass initially, they can complete quests in any order they like as they help players advance in the process by rewarding them with different cosmetics and the skin itself. On completing the quests, players will be able to unlock Prowler skin but also eight Prowler cosmetics items. One important thing to keep in mind is the deadline.
Prowler’s skin will only be unlockable in this season, which means the skin will no longer be obtainable at the end of this season. Here are the set of Prowler’s quests that players will need to complete:
- Search seven chests before taking any damage in a match to get rewarded with a Sky Prowler glider.
- Complete seven Prowler quests to get rewarded with the Slash and Smash emote.
- Mod two vehicles and drive them 500 meters in a match to get Prowler’s Grasp emoticon.
- Collect 300 bars to obtain a Prowler-themed loading screen.
- Use one spray at The Daily Bugle to get Prowler tag spray.
- Damage opponents while crouched or sliding to get the Energy Claw harvesting tool
- Headshot three opponents with a thermal weapon to get the Mark of the Prowler weapon wrap.
Amongst all these quests, the hardest one to complete would be to hit three opponents with a headshot using a thermal weapon. This particular quest is hard due to the rare availability of the thermal weapons and the condition of having to hit a headshot. Players can usually loot chests and get lucky with a thermal weapon, or they can choose to fight and defeat a Huntmaster Saber or an IO hunter to obtain a thermal weapon.
