Commission Steps
- Talk to Maddah
- Wait till the following evening (19:00 – 21:00)
- Go to the café and talk to Maddah
Walkthrough: The commission has different dialogue options that let Maddah tell the story depending on what the player chooses. After the first dialogue options, you will be given 3 choices to choose which story to tell, Mondstadt, Liyue and Inazuma. Each region will have a different outcome of the story. The dialogue options also change if you choose to either get on to the facts of the story or choose the dramatize option. Here is a guide to tracking the results of all dialogue choices.

Walkthrough: The Quiz questions are randomized and out of six questions, the player will get three random questions. Obtaining all the questions and answering them correctly will grant an Achievement, ‘Scholarly in Sumeru’. Here are the answers to all the questions.
- Darshan with the largest number of researchers: Amurta
- Darshan that specializes in a full range of things closely tied with elemental powers: Spantamad
- Name of the big Tree holding up the Akademiya: Divine Tree
- Name of the barrier that separates Sumeru City and the Desert: Wall of Samiel
- Beast creature that carries the Merchant’s goods when travelling long distances: Sumpter Beast
- Mushroom-like monster’s name in the wilderness of Sumeru: Fungi
Attaché in another Land
In order to unlock this commission, players are required to finish the World Quest ‘Tatara Tales: The Last Act’in Inazuma. Additionally, if the players pick up more than 5 Mushrooms, then they will be granted an Achievement, ‘It’s My Job’.
Commission Steps
Concresoil
This is a 2 part Commission quest that unlocks another Commission after completing all options of the quest. The variant that spawns in the first part of the commission is randomized, the following variants are the Slime version, Moisture version and Whopperflower version. The players need to complete the 3 different variants in order to unlock the second and final part of the commission. Only after you complete the Final version will you be able to unlock the Commission, ‘Other Applications of Concresoil’.

Providing either Mint, Raw Meat or Potato will grant different dishes depending on the ingredient given. Obtaining all 3 versions of dishes will grant the Achievement, ‘What’s the Matter?’

Garcia’s Paean Commission Series
Garcia’s Paean is a World Quest that is unlocked on Liyue, specifically in Wangshu Inn. Completing the World Quest will grant players access to 4 of the Commissions available in Sumeru related to the Garcia’s Paean series. Each Commission unlocks the next Commission, continuing the story. This is one of the most popular NPC commissions in the Genshin Impact Sumeru region.

The 4-part Commission series is very self-explanatory. There is a minor bug on the last part of the Commission ‘Garcia’s Paean: Easy Peasy’ that may prevent players from completing the commission. Additionally, completing both ‘Garcia’s Paean: Key Items and Subsstitues’ will grant access to another new World Quest called ‘Garcia’s Paean: A Gift of Compatibility’.
Gold Devouring and Mora Gathering
The commission has four versions, each being completely randomized. Two achievements can be obtained while completing the Commissions. In the Achievement, ‘Kalimi’s Fungus’ players have to complete the Fortune version of the commission. Additionally, in order to grant the Achievement ‘When Wealth Comes A-Knockin’,’ players must complete the Bargain-Hunting version. The versions are all randomized and the choice of food does not determine the outcomes.

There are 3 different and randomized versions of the Commission where the 3 cats are located in 5 different areas. Completing all 3 versions will grant the Achievement, ‘Catch Me-ow if You Can!’.

Problem Conversion Commission Series
The 4-part commission series is pretty straightforward except for one part during the Theory Reliability commission. In this part, players can fetch 3 to 5 planks during the commission. If the players collect only 3 to 4 planks, they will get a Ship Failure version in the Loading Capacity commission. If the players successfully collect 5 planks, they will be obtaining the Ship Success version instead. Completing the Commission with the Ship Success version will grant the players an Achievement ‘The Ship Has It’.

There are 5 versions of this Commission, with 3 versions of the camp having a Special Quest item that can be obtained. Although those are optional items, obtaining all 3 special versions of the items will grant the Achievement, ‘Non-Obligatory Request’.

Hook Quest Series
Both commissions are interlocked together and have 3 versions each. Completing ‘Supreme Hookshot?’ in all 3 versions of the commission will unlock the World Quest ‘Cost-Effective Hook’. After completing the World quest, a new Commission will be unlocked following the events of the World quest called ‘The Hook’s Unexpected Adventure’.

Blooming Sands Commission Series
After completing the World Quest ‘Blooming Sands’, two new commissions are unlocked that continue the events after the world quest. Desert Bloom needs to be completed 3 times with 3 of the different versions in order to unlock the Commission, ‘Blooming Sands: Lasting Scent.’ Completing Lasting Scent will grant the players the Achievement ‘A Lingering Fragrance’.

Good Medicine Commissions
There are 3 versions of the ‘Good Medicine is Hard to Come by’ Commission, players need to just listen to the instructions the NPC provides. Giving the correct instructions to Maruf will grant the Achievement ‘Doctor’s Handwriting’. If incorrect instructions are given, it will unlock the following Commission, ‘Good Medicine is Difficult to Make.’
