Genshin Impact Dehya Guide: Materials, weapons, artifacts, and more

Everything you need to know about Dehya to bring her to the max potential

Flame-ManeDehya is a Pyro claymore character who was released in Genshin Impact version 3.5 and she will be added to the Standard Wish – Wanderlust Invocation in version 3.6. This Genshin Impact Dehya guide will go over her upgrade materials, how to build and play her as well as her best team comps.

Dehya in Genshin Impact: Materials and Weapons

As a Pyro character, Dehya uses Agnidus Agate for ascension. They are dropped by the Pyro Regisvine as well as the Pyro Hypostasis. Another one of her ascension materials is dropped only by the Algorithm of the Semi-Intransient Matrix of Overseer Network.

She also requires Sand Grease Pupa for ascension and it is an item that can be farmed in the new Desert of Hadramaveth area released in version 3.4. The boss materials for her talents can be obtained from the Everlasting Lord of Arcane Wisdom weekly boss. Please check out this article for a detailed list of Dehya’s materials.

Wolf's Gravestone

Dehya’s signature weapon Beacon of the Reed Sea is the best choice for her since the passive is tailor-made for her. Wolf’s Gravestone is a great choice for a DPS Dehya. Akuoumaru is the best 4* weapon for a DPS Dehya, while Luxurious Sea Lord is a pretty decent option A tank support Dehya could utilize The Bell. Please check out this article for a detailed breakdown of Dehya’s best weapons.

Dehya’s Artifacts

For a DPS build, Dehya needs around 180% ER. ER Sands might be required to meet her needs. At C0, she can run ATK Sands but at C1, HP% sands become more lucrative. For a support build, go for HP-HP-HP. If DPS Dehya is being played in Pyro reaction-oriented teams, 4pc Crimson Witch of Flames would be her top choice. In Mono Pyro teams, she would benefit from 4pc Emblem of Severed Fate. Tank support builds would prefer 4pc Tenacity of the Millelith. Please check out this article for a detailed explanation of Dehya’s best artifact sets.

Genshin Impact Dehya: Playstyle, Team Comps, and Constellations

Using Dehya as a Burning support in a Ganyu Burn-Melt team is the best use of her supporting utility. Please check out this article for a detailed explanation of Dehya’s playstyle. As mentioned above, Ganyu Burn-Melt is one of the most unique Dehya teams out there. Please check out this article for a detailed guide to Dehya’s team comps.

Team comps

For a nuke DPS Dehya, the goal is to apply all buffs from teammates (Mona, Bennett, Kazuha, etc) before switching to her and unleashing her burst. In Mono Pyro teams, her personal contribution to the team’s total DMG is not that significant, but it is a viable way of playing her. In these teams, she does not have to shoulder the burden of being a Hypercary unit. Nuke DPS Dehya teams are not self-sustainable against waves of enemy mobs and they are mostly useful against bosses.

Genshin Impact Constellations breakdown for Dehya

It is not advisable to go for Dehya’s constellations. That said, her constellations are pretty useful. At C6, she can even come close to top-tier Pyro DPS like Hu Tao, Yoimiya, and Xiangling in terms of DMG potential. Please check out this article for a detailed breakdown of Dehya’s constellations.

Final Thoughts

At the moment, Dehya feels like a rather incomplete character. Maybe in the future, she will receive better teammates or hopefully a new best-in-slot artifact set, but until then players should make the most out of her kit as best as they can.
