An Introduction To Indoor Archeology World Quest Walkthrough
To Khemenu Temple
- Visiting the oasis will trigger a cutscene. After it finishes, you will be told to find Jebrael.
- Look to the south of the oasis and you will see a wind current. Ride it up and use the four-leaf clover to find Jebrael quickly.
- Talk to him and then return to the oasis.
- After talking to everyone at the oasis, travel towards Khemenu Temple. The location will be marked on the map.
Inside Khemenu Temple
After arriving at the marked location inside the temple, it will trigger a cutscene and the door ahead will be opened. Enter the next room. There are two doors on the left and right but you cannot open them yet because you do not have enough clearance at the moment. Do not worry, completing Golden Slumber and its sequel, Dual Evidence will give you 100% clearance and you can come back here later.
There is also a mechanism in the middle of the room which cannot be interacted with at the moment. Ignore it and move forward. Inside the next room, there are two doors on the left and right. Thankfully both of them can be opened. They can be entered in any order but we are entering the one on the right first.
Puzzle in Right Room
Enter the room on the right. Proceed down the hall and find a room where a blue triangle is being guarded by two scorpions. Kill the scorpions, pick up the triangle and stand on the square mechanism next to it.
The mechanism will reveal a Primal Sconce containing a Primal Ember. Release the Primal Ember from the Primal Sconce and follow it. When it rests at a Sconce, just release it. The Primal Ember will join with a Primal Torch and unlock half of the puzzle. The other Primal Ember is inside the room on the left.
Puzzle in Left Room
Enter the room on the left. Proceed down the hall and find a room with Primal Constructs. Defeat them and release the Primal Ember from the Primal Sconce. Follow it till it joins with a Primal Torch. When it rests at a Sconce, just release it.
Once both Primal Torches have been lit, a cutscene will play and the door to the next room will be opened. Pass the door and move down the hall. Before reaching the marked location, there will be a teleport waypoint that you can unlock. This waypoint did not appear on the map before, it was hidden. Arriving at the marked location will trigger another cutscene. After that, you will be asked to go to the previous room.
In the previous room, there will be two doors opened on the left and the right. They can be entered in any order, but we are entering the one on the right first. This is the room that is opposite the room in front of which Jeht is standing. When you enter the room, you can see on the mini-map that you are moving southwards.
Meet Jebrael
Move up the hall and you will meet Jebrael before entering a big room with a boat. Use the four-leaf clover and move to the top of the boat. Collect the blue triangle, move to the lower level, and stand on the square mechanism to reveal a Primal Sconce. Release the Primal Ember and follow it. It will pass through a square mechanism. Just stand on it and the floor will disappear, revealing a path to the room below.
Continue following it til it enters a room with a horizontal fan and rests at a Primal Sconce. The fan periodically switches between on and off states on its own, there are no mechanisms to manually control it. Wait for the fan to turn off and immediately release the Primal Ember from the Primal Sconce.
Continue to follow it and return to the first room, where it will join with a Primal Torch. When it rests at a Sconce, just release it. Return to the room with the teleport waypoint and enter the room in front of which Jeht is standing. In the middle of the hall, there will be another disappearing floor mechanism. You can ignore it for now. There is a seelie in the room below.
At the end of the hall is a door. This door is locked from the other side. If you chose to enter the room below, the seelie will lead you to the door and unlock it. Turn left from the door and proceed. You will enter a big room with a Primal Construct, and defeat it.
Climb the structure in the middle. Look up and around, there should be four-leaf clovers. If there are none, interact with the hourglass mechanism. This will begin a timed challenge, you can choose to complete it or ignore it for the moment. The challenge will spawn the four-leaf clovers.
Find a Primal Sconce
Use the four-leaf clovers and move up to find a Primal Sconce attached to the wall. Release it and follow it till it returns to the first room and joins with a Primal Torch. You can click “abandon challenge” once you reach the Primal Sconce.
Once both Primal Torches are lit up, a cutscene will be triggered. A door will open in the structure in the middle of the room, revealing an elevator. Ride the elevator and move to the room below. Approach the marked location and wait for the cutscene to play out. The door to the next room will be opened.
