In Genshin Impact, players have access to one-time domains that reward players with various items like Primogems, artifacts, and Mora upon completing the challenge. The domain remains open after completion but does not offer rewards anymore. The rewards also include Electro Sigil which is used to increase the level of Sacred Sakura. These domains are denoted by a smaller blue circle. One such domain in Inazuma is Shakkei Pavilion. This guide will discuss how to unlock the Shakkei Pavilion in Genshin Impact.
How to unlock Shakkei Pavilion in Genshin Impact
The domain isn’t straightforward to unlock where players can just trot to the location and unlock the domain. Instead, players need to solve a puzzle involving the Kamuijima Cannons. There is also a prerequisite quest that players need to complete, namely Tatara Tales. Tatara Tales is divided into seven parts and the players will need to complete only the third part called Data Collection to be able to unlock the domain. Unlocking the domain will also make the exploration a bit easier since players can teleport to the location of the domain.
How to use Cannons
Players need to use the Cannons (located right next to the teleport waypoint in the small island to the right side of Tatarsuna) that they have come used already got accustomed to during Tatara tales.
The Cannons’ elevation and direction can be changed using the controls on the screen. Players need to hit the shot in the direction of the domain which can be found using the mini-map (marked in red in the image below).
To use the cannons, players need to be either imbued with electro or need to possess Electrograna. The Electrograna can be picked up from the Sakura bough present nearby. The canons can be a bit tricky to shoot as the shots don’t travel in a straight line but in a parabolic manner, but don’t be afraid to shoot as you have unlimited shots.
The wall is camouflaged with the surroundings and can be very difficult to find, especially on mobile. Keep shooting in that general direction till a sparkling colour appears and there is a cavity in the mountain. Also, another indication is that on hitting the shot successfully players will also unlock the Achievement Jackpot.
Once you see the cavity, use the Waverider to reach the domain. Or, if you are feeling particularly adventurous, then you can use Kaeya to build an ice bridge to reach the destination. On reaching the location, you will also find an Electroculus as well.
