Genshin Impact Iktomi Spiritseeking Scrolls event is the flagship event introduced in the Version 5.2 Update. Throughout the event, players will engage in three different challenges involving battles, puzzle solving, and PvP games. This guide covers how to unlock the Event, gameplay mechanics, release dates, and rewards.
The event will take place from the 28th of November 2024 08:00 UTC till the 16th of December, 2024 1:59 UTC. Players with Adventure Rank 20 or above and completing the Archon Quest Prologue: Act III, Song of the Dragon, and Freedom. Additionally, it is recommended that players complete Archon Quest Chapter V: Act IV “The Rainbow Destined To Burn” to get the best story experience in the Event.
Genshin Impact Iktomi Spiritseeking Scrolls Event Overview
During the event, there will be three gameplay modes: Search for Lost Spirits, Evil Banisher, and Restoring Fragmented Records. Completing Day 1 of all the 3 game modes will grant the players the new free 4-star exclusive Sword Calamity of Eshu.
Search for Lost Spirits
In this mode, players will have to join with the other three players for the challenges. The goal is to gain as many points as possible to complete the requirements for the rewards by gathering the Roaming Spirits. The scattered Roaming Spirits will avoid nearby players. There will be a series of gameplay modes to play on as you further progress through the stages such as Splendiferous Spirithub, Shackle Stones, and Driving Storm.
There will be certain buffs present during the game that increase your Movement Speed, Stamina, etc. When you gather enough buffs, the Spiritcall Value (Meter at the top of the screen) will increase. If it reaches fully, a Spiritcall Moment will trigger where the player will attract the Roaming Spirits instead of repelling them.
Evil Banisher
In this mode, players fight various enemies in a set time frame to gain points. Players can obtain certain buffs during each stage if they trigger the objectives (such as creating Swirl reactions etc). Once the requirements are met a Spiritsoul Purge will trigger where your active character will deal AoE damage. Pick your teams according to the target objectives for the buff and gain as many points as possible to obtain rewards.
Restoring Fragmented Records
The last mode is a puzzle-like game where you place fragments in the area in a specific order and position to meet the picture requirements. Here are the solutions for the following puzzles:
