Idle Pocket Planet Beginners Guide and Tips

Explore and Colonise the enormous Galaxy!

Idle Pocket Planet is a simulation and management game, recently published by HyperBeard. The building simulation game genre is a type of genre in which the given space (city, town, country, or planet) can be built and developed. In this Idle Pocket Planet Beginners Guide, we will discuss how to get started with the basics of the game.

Gameplay Overview

Idle Pocket Planet consists of planet exploration, resource collection, and planet development. As soon as the player enters the game, they are given a tutorial about how they received a strange signal from k-waii galaxy and how they need to set a planetary base to steady that signal clearly. The game begins when the players set a planetary base for colonization.

Introducing the basics of Idle Pocket Planet

The galaxy is a huge and mysterious expanse to explore. The concept of the game is to colonize planets and build communities while exploring the digitized galaxy. The players can explore it using the resources they spawn from the planetary base.

As soon as the player enters the game, they are shown through the perspective of a bystander in a rocket, who receives a strange signal from a galaxy named ‘k-waii’. Then the players move on to setting a planetary base on the planet from which they received the signal. The players can spawn resources by placing critters and merging them into next-level critters.

There are two types of stars: orange stars and yellow stars. Both the stars can be spawned by regularly developing the planet’s critters and by other methods like playing mini-games and sending out expeditions.

As the level of critters increase and the spawning is developed, new planets will be discovered. At the beginning of the discovery of a new planet, the critter’s creation will depend on the previous planet, which will eventually lead to their own creation.

Critters and Rocket expeditions

The main resource production for a planet is through critters and rocket expeditions. At the beginning of the game, critters are spawned every ten seconds. Later on, the spawning time can be reduced by upgrading it using stars. Even when the player is not online, the critters are spawned until there is no more space for more critters. Rocket expeditions are unlocked after a few developments in the game. The rocket expeditions are unlocked with time and these give the players different kinds of rewards.

Merging

The critters which are of the same type can be merged to form a next-level critter, which can further be merged into the upgraded level critter. As the critter levels up, it goes to the next orbit and eventually leaves the planet when it reaches the highest orbit. When a critter reaches the maximum level, it will help in leveling up and the newly upgraded critter will go to the next planet. Hence, upgrading critters will help in unlocking new planets too.
