League of Legends: Wild Rift Darius Gameplay Tips and Tricks

Darius is a very strong fighter who can hold Baron Lane easily. His skill sets have been made to dominate the whole battlefield when fed. Darius is better played as a solo fighter. He is a Tank killer. The Wild Rift’s map is a mirror so understand the map side before laning. According to his gameplay, we can break it down into three phases. Our League of Legends: Wild Rift Darius guide includes the perfect game plan for the early, mid, and late game in the game.

Early Game

Buy a Long sword and head towards Baron lane. Clear the first wave of minions. You may be ganked by the opponent’s support and ADR. Remember not engage unnecessarily. Your main duty is to protect your turret while maintaining the gold economy. Be aware of the minimap and place your ward at the rear bush. Try to utilize your burning effect upon enemies.

Mid Game

This is the perfect time for Darius to build his core items. Do not feed just after completing your first item try to build Boot Enchantment. It will surely help you in the battlefield. First trigger passive on an enemy then pull them in your turret and execute them with your ultimate. Try to slay the enemy with your Skill 4, in this way you can easily use your ultimate again. Keep an eye on the Rift Herald. Rotate in mid whenever needed.

Late Game

This is the perfect stage for Darius when he shines the most. If the game goes according to the plan Darius should have rotated in mid after destroying enemies outer top turret. He can handle the 1vs4 situation at this stage. Remember, Darius lacks blink or stun but he can easily slow down the enemies so use your dash spell properly. You are now ready for a team fight; try to cast your combos like this-

Skill 1 + Skill 3 + Skill 2 + Ignite + Skill 4

You can also hide in the bushes and cast your Ultimate on squishy enemies. Always target enemy Carry; once the Noxian Might is activated, don’t hesitate to engage.

Additionally, Darius forms strong pairs and serves as Best Combos with Draven, Camille, Blitzcrank and Fiora.

Final Thoughts

Darius is a newly launched Champion in LoL Wild Rift. Right now, he is in meta and since all of his abilities can deal massive physical damage; we can also build him as an initiator too. Do not build all attack items on him, combine defense item for better sustainability. Just use your short pull and ultimate on time and wreck the enemies down.

Use Darius and rank up easily in this season. With the above guide, you can easily practice Darius in LoL Wild Rift, and before heading to play ranked matches practice a little bit in the PVP mode.

Hi everyone,
For what I’ve experienced, 1st Skill is better used late on combo, and not as initiator. And it’s good late on combo because: 1-It heals, so you want to use it when your health goes down, not when engaging at full health; 2-It applies istantly max stack to all enemies hit, if one of them has max stack.

So, imho, is better to start with 2nd skill to slow, 1 or 2 aa, 3rd skill (even to reach if enemy flee), 2 aa (or 1 aa and 1st skill to heal if you need), Ultimate.
