‘Welcome to Alola Event’ in Pokémon is taking place from March 1 to March 9 during which Rowlet, Popplio, and Litten will frequently appear in the wild along with Pikipek, and Yungoos. Although only Yungoos has its Shiny form available in the game for lucky trainers to encounter, capturing these Pokemons is still a part of the Special Tropical Challenge which if completed rewards the trainers with an Elite Collector medal, 7,000 XP, and 15 Ultra Balls.

The Alola event doesn’t end until June 1, 2022. The ‘Welcome to Alola’ part of the event ends on March 15 which will likely affect the spawn rates of Rowlet, Popplio, and Litten. So in order to stay unaffected by this users will have to be proactive during the course of the Welcome to Aloha event as Rowlet, Popplio and Litten will be frequently appearing in the wild throughout this period. This will also give users enough time to earn plenty of candy to transform the Pokémon into their final evolutionary stages.
Where to find or catch Rowlet, Popplio and Litten in Pokémon Go
It is important for users to understand that although Rowlet, Popplio, and Litten will still be available in the game after the Alola event, it will be nearly impossible to obtain them in the future which narrows down on the chances of being able to transform the Pokémon into their final evolutionary stages.
And because of this, trainers will have to grind from now to get enough candy. All three starters will need a minimum of 25 candy each to reach their second form, and additionally 100 candy to get to the final stage.
In order to increase the spawn rate in Pokémon Go, trainers can use Incense which boosts the spawn rate of nearby Pokémon, incense will work for 30 minutes before expiring. Pinap Berries are another tool to be used while capturing these starters as this will double the candy rewarded at the end of the encounter. This saves ample amount of time to earn enough candy to evolve the Pokémon to its final stage.
To build a strong community and also help other players, users can use a Lure Module on a nearby Pokéstop, which will create a field where all nearby players will have a new Pokémon spawn for them.
