Since the last patch, Pokémon Unite has had a variety of balance changes for both characters and objectives such as Zapdos, Drednaw and Rotom. New Pokemon have been added, like Sylveon and Greedent, and the meta picks, such as Lucario, Venusaur and Blastoise have been nerfed. Weaker Pokemon, such as Pikachu, Slowbro, Gengar, and Garchomp, are getting buffs to their kits which allows players to have a more varied choice of characters when playing competitively. Some characters still feel underpowered but overall, the game is quite balanced currently. However, this Pokemon Unite Tier List for November 2021 will provide players the best picks of the season.

Pokémon Unite November 2021 Tier List for Patch 1.2.1.7 Meta Picks
Best All-Rounder in Pokémon Unite
Lucario

Despite being nerfed relentlessly over the last few patches, Lucario remains the best all-rounder in the game. Lucario’s early game damage remains incredibly high due to the huge damage output from Meteor Mash. Lucario’s late-game still remains relatively strong as Lucario still has a decent amount of survivability and high mobility due to two dash abilities on a quick cooldown.
Best Attacker in Pokémon Unite
Greninja

Having the best offensive capabilities, Greninja is able to dash in and out of fights with high mobility abilities like Smokescreen/Double Team and can easily carry games if played correctly. Greninja’s kit allows Greninja to be played as either a Speedster or an Attacker where your main goal is to sneak behind enemies and kill them before using your abilities to escape safely.
Best Speedster in Pokémon Unite
Zeraora

Zeraora remains the strongest speedster in the game due to the insane amount of healing and damage output. Zeraora’s only disadvantage is that Zeraora is a snowballing character, meaning that an early XP advantage is needed to be able to carry the game. Fortunately, this is easier when Zeraora is played in the center lane, giving you the ability to get kills from both lanes and extra damage from the Bouffalant and Ludicolo buffs.
Best Defender in Pokémon Unite
Greedent

With Blastoise being recently nerfed and Defenders being underpowered, the newly released Greedent is currently the strongest Defender due to the absurd amount of healing and damage provided by Greedent’s abilities. Greedent’s Unite move, Berry Belly Flop is super strong at the moment when paired with the ability Belch because this allows Greedent to store an unlimited amount of berries and resets the cooldown of all moves for a short period of time.
Best Supporter in Pokémon Unite
Blissey

Blissey still remains to be the strongest of all the support characters due to the amazing synergy Blisseys ability Helping Hand has with many of the high-tier Pokémon such as Cinderace, Greninja, and Zeraora. Blissey has one of the highest health pools in the game, making Blissey an extremely useful asset in team fights as Blissey can act as a defender and tank a large portion of the damage for the team. Blissey is also very versatile with ability choices based on team composition. For example, if your team is made up of physical attackers then you can choose to use Helping Hand. Otherwise, if your team needs some crowd control then you could choose to use Egg Bomb instead.
Final Thoughts
The meta of Pokémon Unite is currently quite balanced, as all of the top-tier Pokémon that dominated the meta has been nerfed in a way that allows them to still be played at a competitive level. However, they will not win as consistently, and the Pokémon that were previously underperforming now have enough viability to be played on a competitive level.
