Punishing: Gray Raven is a free-to-play action RPG from Kuro Games, released in 2021, with incredible visuals matched by slick, fast-paced gameplay. The action takes place in a dystopian future where a biomechanical virus, The Punishing, has ripped through the cyborg population of the universe. The New update, A Better Tomorrow, is giving Nirvatia S frame for free. Let me write down all the steps to get her.

Who is Nirvatia, and how to get her
Nirvatia is an S-Rank Nihil Omniframe in the A Better Tomorrow patch arriving on Mar 17, 2026. She is from the Babylonia faction, and her frame name is Dirge. She is a Scythe user, and her weapon name is Obituary for Yesterday. Her main effect is Disruption. She’s perfect for dark-type teams. Although she’s very lacking and not a meta-tier character from what I found, it doesn’t hurt to get a free S-rank Frame.
Commandants can obtain a copy of Nirvatia: Dirge through the Journal of Promise’s limited-time mission in the patch. In addition, Commandants can also redeem Inver-Shard – Dirge x50, 6-star Weapon Obituary for Yesterday, her exclusive CUB Morigan x1 set, and other rewards for free in the Service Shop. You will need to farm a lot of Service Certificates(Currency for the service shop) to get these rewards.
The prices for the rewards in the Service Shop are
- 1 Inver-Shard – Dirge is 50 Service Certificates
- 6-star Weapon Obituary for Yesterday is 500 Service Certificates
- Her exclusive CUB Morigan Set is 300 Service Certificates
The new update and new missions to help you
After the version update, Limited-Time Service Missions will become available. The Service Certificate acquisition cap will be adjusted to 5,600 while the Service Certificates obtained from past versions remain usable. Commandants can also get Service Certificates by completing Weekly Service Missions.
After the version update, you will obtain enough Service Certificates for free to exchange for all items added in this version. Items associated with the Teddy: Spectre frame(the previous free S rank) will not be removed from the Service Shop.
You will get a Maximum of 1500 Service Certificates from the Limited-Time missions, and weekly, you can grind 500 Service Certificates if your acquisition threshold hasn’t been reached yet. Weekly missions are permanent, so you will never have to worry about the Service Certificates going away. You can also use voucher exchange to Dirge Shards for Nirvatia.
Final Thoughts
She’s not the best, but at least we are getting a S rank Omniframe for free, and I ain’t complain, and her design looks fire. But in case you miss the limited-time missions, you can also pull her from the New Research Banner, which I recommend avoiding and just doing the events in the new update.
