What is Shadowgun War Games?
Shadowgun War Games is a tactical multiplayer first-person hero shooter video game. The game is developed and published by Madfinger Games, a Czechia based mobile game development company. Shadowgun War Games is released for Android, iOS, and Nintendo Switch devices. The game is completely free to play on the above platforms and features micro-transactions to earn revenue.
Game Modes
Before we head directly to the games modes, let us first discuss in brief about its gameplay structure. Shadowgun War Games is a team-based game. Shadowgun War Games currently features two game modes –
- Team Deathmatch – If you’re a gamer, you probably already know what this means. This mode pits two teams against each other. The team with the most number of kills wins the deathmatch. As mentioned above, each team consists of 5 players. Therefore, you have very less chance of getting cornered by multiple opponents for a long time since your teammates will come to your rescue as soon as possible.
- Capture the Flag – In order to unlock this mode, you need to reach Rank 5 in Shadowgun War Games. Unlocking this mode shouldn’t take you much time. This mode requires some fairly serious teamwork. You need to survive, shoot your way through the map, reach your opponent team’s base, steal their flag, and bring it all the way back to your own base. Each team member needs to choose their heroes wisely as different heroes have different abilities which your team can use to their advantage, as and when required.
While these are the only two modes that are available to everyone at launch, the game will eventually feature several other modes with future updates.
Shadowgun War Games Battle Pass
Since the game features a freemium business model, it earns its revenue through micro-transactions. Shadowgun War Games features numerous skins, avatars, emotes, and other in-game cosmetic items which players can earn by levelling up in the game. In addition to these free items, the game also features items which are only available to battle pass owners. The battle pass features XP boosts along with other premium quality cosmetic items.

Is Shadowgun War Games worth playing?
If you’re an avid mobile gamer and is eager to try out brand new games, I would highly recommend playing this game. The game features amazing graphics and its overall gameplay will definitely attract the first-person shooter player base. The developers will constantly roll out new updates to the game which will not only include cosmetic items, but also new game modes as well as new heroes.
