How to Transfer your in-game Teppen data
1. How to Transfer your in-game data between iOS devices
You can transfer your data from one iOS device to another using an Apple iCloud or iTunes account. Follow these steps:
- Go to the Home Screen > Other > Data Transfer from your last device.
- Connect your TEPPEN game data to an iCloud or iTunes account using an iCloud or iTunes account.
- Then on your new device, on the title screen, tap Transfer Data > Restore Data to transfer your data.
Keep in mind that if you choose to use this method, do not use the Transfer Code method within the game. You may suffer from game data loss if you transfer your data using the iCloud or iTunes account along with the created transfer code. Also, while the data transfer is in progress, please refrain from tapping anything besides the three options on the title screen.
2. How to Transfer your in-game data between Android devices
Data transfer between Android devices is similar to data transfer between iOS devices, the only difference is in the account type. In between iOS devices, the account type is using iCloud or iTunes account, while on Android you will be using a google account. To transfer data between Android devices, follow these steps:
- Go to the Home Screen > Other > Data Transfer Use a Google Account to Transfer and set it up from your previous device.
- Then on your new device, go to the title screen > tap data transfer > tap use a google account to transfer data.
Note: Do not utilize the Transfer Code method within the TEPPEN app if you use this technique to transfer your data. If you use a Google account and a generated Transfer Code to transfer your game data, you risk losing it.
3. How to Transfer your in-game data from different OS even if you download using Amazon Appstore
A Transfer Code can be used to transfer game data to another device. This method allows you to move data between multiple operating systems, including apps from the Amazon Appstore. Follow these steps to transfer data between different OS:
Confirm your Secret Code (from your old device)
- On the device with the data, you want to transfer, open TEPPEN.
- Tap Start on the Home Screen.
- Tap Other and then, tap inquiries.
- Continue to the second step while you write down your secret code.
Creating a Transfer Code (from your old device)
- On the device with the data, you want to transfer, open TEPPEN.
- Tap Other on the Home Screen.
- Tap Data transfer and then, Tap Create Transfer Code.
- After you read about creating Transfer Code, if you agree with what you read, then you tap agree and create a Transfer Code.
- Continue to the third step while you write down your created Transfer Code.
Transfer your in-game Data (on your new device)
- Install TEPPEN on your new device and when you launch the game, tap Transfer Data on the title screen.
- Select use transfer code and follow the instruction, then enter your Secret Code then tap OK.
- Following the instruction, enter the Transfer Code created in step 2.
- A confirmation window will pop up, check if all the information is correct, once you feel it’s correct, tap YES.
- The Transfer Data process is completed, tap YES, restart the game and you will be playing with your transferred data.
Note: Do not uninstall TEPPEN from your old device when transfer data is in the process if you uninstall the game when transfer data is still in process, you will lose all your data and it won’t be able to be transferred anymore.
Things to remember while transferring your in-game data
- When transferring the data, make sure you are in a place with good reception.
- When transferring the data, please make sure you follow all the step orders listed on the main page.
- Please do not share your transfer information with anyone, the management team will not take any responsibility for any incident during this process.
- If you have any questions regarding jewels that were purchased before the transfer and not showing after the transfer, please stop, then go to the home screen and tap Other > Inquiries > and submit a ticket using the Problems with Jewel Purchase Form.
- If you uninstall the program and start a new game before transferring data, your data will be lost and will no longer be transferable.
- All information up to and including your most recent login with your player ID will be transferred.
