Apple’s video game subscription service, Apple Arcade has added four new games to its catalog in February 2022. Out of the upcoming titles, half of the games are Arcade Originals. Each of the games is distinct by genre. Starting from the 4th of February, all the games will be out one by one, weekly. The titles include Farming simulator, Tower Defense, Adventure, and Bridge-building.
Apple Arcade is a great source for enjoying simple games at a much lower price, as the service charge costs $4.99 only for a month. Moreover, the games are free with no ads or in-app purchases.
Four new games from Apple Arcade added in February 2022
1. Bridge Constructor+
- Release date: February 4
German publisher Headup GmbH is behind this wonderful bridge-builder game. Players have to come up with their out-of-the-box thinking and offer unusual solutions to overcome all 24 levels. Bridge Constructor+ is an easy-to-understand game. Although, it is hard to play which will put players in deep thoughts. Players can download this game from App Store, available on Apple Arcade.
2. Bloons TD 6+
- Release date: February 11
Ninja Kiwi is known for its Bloons titles. The mobile game developer is bringing another title of the series, Bloons TD 6+. This mega tower defense offers a great combination of awesome Monkey Towers, upgrades, heroes, and activated abilities which players will use to pop every last invading Bloon. With 57 beautiful maps, the game supports single-player offline, 4-Player co-op, etc. Players can download this game from App Store, available on Apple Arcade.
3. Wylde Flowers
- Release date: February 18
Developed by Australian developer Studio Drydock Pty Ltd., Wylde Flowers is a cozy life and farming simulation game with a witchy twist. Players will act as Tara, a young beauty who has just arrived to help her grandma at the family farm in little Fairhaven. With magical powers, she will explore beautiful beaches, secretive forests, etc. The game lets players fall in love besides their primary objective, to find the hidden darkness, which is affecting the town and discover how to bring everyone together. 4. Gibbon: Beyond the Trees
- Release date: February 25
Austrian Indie developer Broken Rules has developed Gibbon: Beyond the Trees, an ecological adventure in which a family of gibbons finds themselves lost in a dangerous world beyond their understanding. With the stunning 2D hand-painted visuals, players will crave freedom.
As we researched gibbons and their existence in the world today, we realized there was a deeper story to tell. Deforestation, poaching, and the climate crisis are making it harder and harder for gibbons to survive. We wanted the game to honor their struggle and give wildlife a voice in the gaming world.
