KRAFTON India has officially kicked off the Battlegrounds Mobile India Pro Series (2026) today with a massive ₹2 Crore+ prize pool. Now live until June 21, 2026, this year’s tournament brings a revamped competitive structure and two coveted qualification spots for the 2026 Esports World Cup in Riyadh.
BGMI Pro Series (BMPS) 2024: Schedule and Format
So, India’s flagship BGMI esports tournament, BMPS, is now live, with the invite-only competition culminating in the Grand Finals taking place from June 19 to 21, 2026. It brings together 64 of the country’s best BGMI teams competing against each other across multiple stages before the final LAN showdown.

Now, one of the biggest highlights of this year’s BMPS is the new Promotion and Relegation format introduced during the Qualifiers stage. Unlike previous ones, teams no longer rely on a strong start alone, as rankings now reshuffle after every six matches. Meaning, the top 4 teams from Groups B, C, and D will move up, while the bottom 4 teams from Groups A, B, and C will drop down.
And, the tournament itself takes place across five competitive phases.
- Qualifiers: Runs from May 6 to May 31, where the 64 invited teams battle across Erangel, Miramar, and Rondo. At the end of this stage, the top eight teams from Group A will get direct slots in the Grand Finals.
- Survival Stage: Runs from June 2 to June 5, where 32 teams compete in a round-robin format for the remaining Semi-Final slots.
- Semi-Finals: Runs from June 9 to June 12, featuring 24 teams competing in a double round-robin setup, with only the top six advancing directly to the finals.
- Last Chance: It will be held on June 13 and 14, giving the remaining semi-final teams one last opportunity to qualify through a 12-match sprint.
- Grand Finals: Finally, the Grand Finals will take place from June 19 to June 21 in a LAN format, where the top 16 teams will compete across 18 matches to become the BMPS 2026 champion.
Participating Teams in BMPS 2026
So, the total number of participating teams has been reduced from 96 in BMPS 2025 to just 64 elite squads this year. According to the organizers, these teams were selected based on rankings from BGIS 2026, the UE India Rising Series, College Campus Tour, and KIE Invited Teams.
It includes some of the biggest teams, like:
- iQOO SOUL
- Godlike Esports
- iQOO Orangutan
- iQOO Revenant XSpark
- Gods Reign
- True Rippers
- iQOO 8BIT
- NEBULA Esports
- Phoenix Esports
- Genesis Esports
- Team AX
BGMI Pro Series (BMPS) 2026: Prize Pool
Moreover, there is a huge prize pool of ₹2 Crore+ ($240,000 to $245,000) shared among the top teams, though the Champion team will be getting the major chunk. Besides this, BMPS 2026 also has another important reward, as two Indian teams will qualify for the 2026 EWS.
So, the highest-ranked team on the overall KRAFTON India Esports (KIE) leaderboard will get the first slot, while the second one will be awarded to the BMPS 2026 Champion. And, if for some reason, the same team secures both positions, the runner-up of BMPS 2026 will get the slot.
