Unlike the vast fantasy worlds and epic RPG elements that we used to see in the PC and Console versions of Bethesda’s renowned franchise, The Elder Scrolls: Castles will be a simulation title. In the franchise, they had dropped The Elder Scrolls: Blades which was an RPG a few years back, and I would’ve loved to see at least another attempt with this game, but this looks interesting too.
In this game, the premise is that you become the ruler of your own castle and dynasty, whereas, in this world, time passes differently, each day in real life equals a whole year. Your task is to build your legacy across generations as you train your subjects, name heirs, and maintain order to foster your kingdom’s growth.
Craft your castle from the ground up, which you can do by customizing it with rooms, decorations, and monuments. Don’t keep it empty, as you can assign subjects to workstations for a thriving, resource-rich castle. Complete epic quests as you create heroes, equip them with legendary gear and send them into battle against iconic Elder Scrolls foes.
