Brawl Stars has finally dropped its April 2026 Brawl Talk, and it is one of the most packed updates the community has seen in a while. Following the previous Brawl Talk in February, this one brings three new Brawlers, 2 huge collaborations, new game modes, a Bling overhaul, and more. So, let’s dive into details!
Brawl Stars April 2026 Brawl Talk: New Brawlers and Game Modes
New Brawlers in Brawl Stars
So, this update brings three very unique Brawlers, each with their own unique mechanics and charm.
1. Damian
First up is Damian, Draco’s brother and part of the Maddeavl Trio band with Lumi. His attacks let you throw punches, with every third hit knocking enemies back and igniting them, which then explodes to deal area damage. With his Super, you can jump into a full-on moshpit, trapping enemies inside a speaker arena where they either fight you or destroy the speakers to escape.

He is also coming with his Hypercharge, which sets the ground on fire after you land, called Jump in the Fire. And as teased through the collab music video by Electric Callboy, Damian is arriving on April 24, 2026.
2. Starr Nova
Next is Starr Nova, a cosplayer who took her job too seriously. Now, with her basic attack, you can fire twin projectiles in a straight line, but it is her Super that makes her so interesting. With this, you dash while damaging enemies and transform into a stronger version of yourself.

During this short duration, you switch to a cone-based sword attack, while also gaining movement speed. You can heal yourself by damaging enemies. She is arriving in-game in May.
3. Bolt
Lastly, Bolt is bringing one of the most unique playstyles to the game yet. Designed like a rolling toy from the Battle Bustez toyline, he has a unique basic attack and movement. I mean, the faster you move, the more damage you deal, but wall collisions or sharp turns can slow you down.

And with the Super, you become even faster with increased acceleration and damage reduction, while also leaving a damaging trail behind you, which reminds me of MLBB’s Barats. Bolt is arriving in June 2026.
Game Modes
1. Super Ball Game Mode

The Super Ball Game mode is part of the upcoming Adidas collaboration event in June 2026. Now, this is a football-inspired mode where a goalkeeper actively defends the goal, but you can also stun them by dealing enough damage. With this comes a new kicking mechanic that lets you power up shots, damage enemies, and even chain fast passes between teammates.
2. Starr Patrol Season Game mode
During the Starr Patrol Season, the game is bringing a new game mode that acts more like a special modifier. Here, you can transform into one of the Starr Patrol characters or even Spike by getting the collectible Crystals. Each comes with diverse abilities based on the original Brawlers.

Besides this, there will also be a 5v1 boss fight against Void Finx and Void Colette. And, once you clear all the difficulty levels, you’ll unlock a time trial mode to test how quickly you can defeat these bosses.
Brawl Stars April 2026 Brawl Talk: Bling Rework, Oddities Shop, Buffies, and more
Bling Rework and Oddities Shop
So, Bling is getting a big makeover with this update, as previously revealed with the cosmetic system update. The Shop is being redesigned, and a new Oddities Shop with Juju will become your main place to spend your hard-earned Bling.

And after this update, you can’t use Bling in the Catalog anymore, and while the Catalog is removed, it will exist via the Brawler screen. Instead, the Oddities Shop will offer rotating bundles that can include Skins, Drops, and even progression items. And this is the first time you’re getting progression items with Bling.
Buffies
So, the game is also streamlining Buffies this season, and instead of multiple Trio Machines, there will be just one now. This helps you to pick your desired Buffie more easily. Besides this, they are also making changes to the Free Buffie.

Now, you’ll get one random Buffie for free per update instead of per machine. And this time, the Gift Shop Trio, Griff, Colette, and Edgar, are getting new buffies.
Brawl Stars April 2026 Brawl Talk: New skins, collabs, and more
So, the devs are also making changes to skins, especially how the skin rarities work. Thanks to this, future Mythic skins will include takedown VFX, while Legendary skins get both spawn and takedown VFX. Unfortunately, older skins won’t get these effects.

New Skins
1. Starr Patrol Season skins
The Starr Patrol Season brings a full anime-inspired skins lineup, including Starr Patrol Spike, his chromas, Starr Scount Spike, and Starr Guardian Spike as a Brawl Pass skin set. For the villain side, you get Void Colette, and the chromas, White Dwarf Colette, and Black Hole Colette as the other skin set.

Besides this, you also get Starr Patrol Juju, Starr Patrol Bea, Starr Patrol Amber with a darker version, Void Amber, and Void Master Finx skins.
2. Brawl Strikers Season Skins

Next, we have the Brawl Strikers Season, which brings Super Ball Gene, and his two chromas, Keeper Gene and Score Stopper Gene, as a Brawl Pass skin set. The other set includes Super Ball Carl with Striker Carl and Kicker Carl as chroma variations. Besides this, you get Refereeple, Super Striker Lou, Scroekeeper Surge, and Gridiron Otis skins.
3. My Hero Academia Collab skins

I can’t believe that Brawl Stars is collaborating with none other than My Hero Academia. And it brings a variety of collab skins, which include All Might: El Primo, Tomura Shigaraki: Gus, Uravity: Janet, and Deku: Fang and Bakugo: Edgar. They will be released soon after the update.
Not to forget, there’s also the Esports Jackie skin, with proceeds directly supporting all the partnered esports organizations.
New Hypercharges
The game is bringing a new hypercharge for the recently released Brawler:

- Najia’s Twin Snakes Hypecharge: With this, you can spawn two times more jars with each snake leaving a poison trail as they move.
Quality-of-life improvements
Lastly, I also like that we can now report others for their bad behavior in Trophy Games. And like Ranked, if they get enough reports, they’ll first get a warning followed by a timeout from all team Game modes if they continue causing trouble. So, they’ll be forced to play only the Solo Showdown.

Moreover, you can also favorite friends from your friends list, and every time they come online, you get a notification. Along with this, the Friends screen also received visual improvements. Plus, we can finally add notes to your friends so you remember them.
