Changes coming in the upcoming Clash Mini May 2022 update

1. Minis: Rework

Five Minis are set to receive their mechanics to make them more viable as currently, these minis had a low pick rate due to lacklustre upgrades. The five minis who will be receiving the changes are :

  • Electro Wizard: All nearby allies in the same row will receive 2 bonus energy when Electro Wizard has his second upgrade equipped.
  • Barbarians: The third upgrade of Barbarians will now boost the attack by 1 for all allies standing nearby.
  • Spear Goblins: Spear Goblins’ hit speed will be increased by 100% at upgrade level 3.
  • Mini PEKKA: Mini PEKKA will now deal twice the damage to other minis and heroes who possess either a shield or a block with the third ability.
  • Valkyrie: The third upgrade of Valkyrie will reduce the healing effect by 75% for the next 2 seconds on all enemy minis, and heroes affected by her attack.

2. Heroes Rework and Progression

Supercell is going to make Heroes’ abilities more accessible to players so that players can try more heroes and can also compete with higher leveled players. The first and second abilities will now unlock at levels 4 and 8 respectively down from levels 5 and 10. Further, some of the order of abilities are also being swapped so that players can harness the true power of Heroes. For example, the Royal Champions’ second and third abilities are being swapped.

3. Two New Minis: Skeleton King, Royal Ghost

Skeleton King is the newest Hero to be introduced to the game. His super Spooky Pop does a 360-degree attack dealing 3 damage to nearby enemies and also stunning and knocking them back. His third ability revives himself almost one each round making him a force to be reckoned with.

Royal Ghost is a 3 elixir mini and is glass cannon meaning he can deal good damage but has relatively low health making his placement on the field important. His super turns him invisible for 4 seconds and his second ability is a clash ability making him and his nearby allies invisible.

4. Trophy Road

Similar to other Supercell games like Clash Royale and Brawl Stars, Clash Mini will be getting a trophy road that will reward players for making progression through ranked play as they gain trophies.

Players will be able to get new minis, crystal points, gold, and gems from the trophy road. Players who have already unlocked minis will be compensated with a different reward and when the update drops all rewards will be automatically collected.

Four elixir minis are the centre of focus on this set of balance changes as they have not performed in accordance with their high elixir cost in the previous two seasons.
