Clash of Clans is bringing a completely different style of event with Clash vs Skeletons in May 2026. Arriving as a full community battle where you pick a side, contribute stars, and push back a skeleton invasion. Alongside that, there are free chests, a free Legendary Hero Skin, and even a free scenery up for grabs. Here’s everything you need to know.
Clash of Clans Clash vs Skeleton for May 2026 Event details
Overview
The Clash vs Skeleton Event is live from May 4 until May 18, 2026, with around two weeks to take part. When you enter the event, you will need to choose between Team Jade or Team Amethyst. Your choice determines your side on the event map and also gives you a themed decoration to represent your team.
The event features a large map where both teams work through tiles, pushing back the skeleton invasion and unlocking rewards along the way. At the center of the map is the main skeleton base, which both teams must eventually defeat together.
Event Map and How to Progress
The event map is the core of this mode. Each tile requires a certain number of stars from the team to unlock. For some tiles, they vary: some simply advance your progress, while others offer rewards or even hidden surprises through mystery tiles.
Progression is tied to the stars you earn in multiplayer battles. Every star you get from attacks can be donated to the event map. If you get a three-star attack, you can contribute three stars. These can be donated immediately or saved and used later, depending on how the map develops.
Each team starts from opposite sides of the map and pushes forward by contributing stars to tiles. Some tiles contain fixed rewards, while others are hidden and reveal rewards once unlocked. At the same time, the skeletons will fight back by reclaiming tiles every 12 hours.
Reaching the center unlocks the final objective, the skeleton base, which requires a massive number of stars to defeat. Both teams contribute toward this final objective, so even if your team is behind, you can still be part of completing the event.
Rewards
This event offers a mix of personal and community rewards. The biggest reward is the free Legendary Barbarian King Hero Skin, which you unlock through your own progress by donating 200 stars in the event.
On the community side, once the skeleton base is defeated, all participating players receive a free Classic Skeleton scenery, even if they contributed only a small amount. There are also multiple rewards from the event map tiles, including magic items and hidden rewards, depending on how your team progresses.
Additionally, a community event on the Supercell Store is running alongside this, where completing milestones can give a free Book of Building.
