Supercell’s Clash of Clans has followed up on yet another amazing event for this March 2024 season and it is titled Super Dragon Spotlight. Although this is not exactly what you call a “Space-themed” event, but this also brings some exciting new features, which I will discuss in this article.
Clash of Clans Super Dragon Spotlight Event March 2024 Overview
Like every other event, the CoC event introduces players to many exciting features and challenges. Like the recently concluded Dragon Festival LNY 2024 event, Super Dragon Spotlight brings in-game activities to collect Resources, Participate in themed Challenges, and more, with one of the anticipated highlights being a new set of exclusive rewards.
The event runs from March 11th to March 21, 2024, for a total of 10 days, during which you can progress through the event track to unlock various rewards. I will be explaining what rewards you can get as well in the next phases of the articles.
Event Strategies
The event revolves around the Super Ice Bath, an event building where players can claim ice cubes daily and access the event. Well, like we all access the buildings in previous events, this will also be situated next to the Traders’ shop. Ice cubes are earned by achieving stars in multiplayer battles, rather than through specific building takedowns as in previous events.
Coming to rewards for the event, we will be collecting Super Dragon medals to redeem and earn from the Trader’s shop alongside other resources such as the Hero Equipment introduced in the December 2023 update, we can get more of these featured in the event shop.
New Event Troops
As of the time of writing, we have one troop confirmed. Rest of the details I will be dropping once the event goes live.
Super Dragon
Well, from the name itself, I recognized which is the confirmed troop arriving. Super Dragon will be immediately unlocked in the event pass, granting Town Hall 8, 9, and 10 players access to a super troop.
Moreover, during the event, the Super Dragon is boosted to the highest level available for each Town Hall, allowing players to train three super troops simultaneously for the first time, which I feel should be made common in the Home Village after the end too.
Event Rewards
In terms of resources, players can earn ice cubes by participating in multiplayer battles, with bonuses for using the Super Dragon. These ice cubes can be used to progress through the event track and claim rewards. Players can choose to purchase the event pass for additional rewards, including extra medals, ores, and decorations.
I know, we are missing out on the cosmetics this time with the event, but what I am extremely curious about with this event is the Fireball epic equipment for the Grand Warden. This equipment significantly boosts the Grand Warden’s damage output and provides a unique active ability, dropping an explosive fireball that will damage the closest defense.
