Clash Royale is revamping itself to a whole new experience with the latest “Goblin Queen’s Journey” June 2024 Update. Part of the ‘Goblin’s Gambit’ June 2024 Update theme, this update is fully focused on the Goblins and will bring a new Goblin-themed mode, three brand new cards, alongside a community event which the details I will share in this article.

New Game Mode: Goblin Queen’s Journey
Joining the Trophy Road and Path of Legends will be a new game mode called the Goblin Queen’s Journey is hitting the game. In this fun game mode, we will experience her powerful baby-launching ability, while she is at the helm of the King Tower. Surprised at how this works? Well, let me explain.
By playing Goblin cards, you can build up her ability bar, allowing the Queen to fire goblin babies spreading throughout the arena. This game mode is available to those who have reached Arena 12, and it offers the opportunity to unlock new Goblin cards and earn “queen-size” rewards. Well, for now, we don’t know for how long this will be available.
Meet the New Goblin Cards
With the Goblin Queen’s reign come three new Goblin cards, each bringing unique new abilities, which I will discuss below. Once unlocked, these new Goblin cards can be utilized in all game modes.
Goblin Machine
Part of the two troop cards, The Goblin Machine is a Legendary card designed to deliver powerful attacks, with an Elixir cost of 5. He comes in a mechanized suit, piloted by a skilled goblin baby, and is equipped with metal fists and a rocket launcher.
Goblin Demolisher
Now, a tad lower on the rarity side, the Goblin Demolisher comes as a Rare card in the game, costing 4 Elixir. Known for its explosive capabilities, the Goblin Demolisher excels in causing chaos on the battlefield, particularly effective against clustered enemy troops and buildings.
Goblin Curse
While we have two troops coming, we have the Goblin Curse Spell joining the fray. Costing 2 Elixir and being an Epic card, this new spell not only damages enemy troops over time but also turns them into goblins. I see this transformative ability can shift the tide of battle by overwhelming opponents with a sudden influx of goblins.
Community Event and Future Updates
The update also introduces a major community event with a massive prize pool of 250,000 gold. You can participate by launching goblin babies and competing for the top rewards. There are six tiers of rewards you can enjoy, and they will be distributed according to the tiers reached.
