Yet another month has arrived which means, it is time for a new season of Clash Royale. Themed after the Card Evolution update coming this June 19th, Season 48 is titled Get Ready for Evolution, with the June 2023 update of Clash Royale will also have a rock theme alongside introducing some interesting event modes as well as the usual new skins for towers, new emotes, banner box items, and the Season Shop rewards. Since the last update missed out on the Balance Changes, we have some in this update as well, so let us find them in detail.
Clash Royale Season 48 Get Ready for Evolution June 2023 Update details
The Get Ready for Evolution update follows a Rock theme, so expect some rock elements inducted with the troops and emotes.
New Event: Rock Barbarians
A new event is coming to Clash Royale, where a Barbarian vibing with a guitar can be seen in the center of the arena on a stage. Well, he not only provides some entertainment for the one battling, but he will strike lightning to the troops, which is a rage effect that can boost your cards deployed on the arena for a while!
This looks pretty interesting at first glance, doesn’t it? Well, we need to wait and see how this event plays out.
New Tower Skin
Currently, one Tower Skin has been confirmed for this update, which will be available in the Pass Royale. The Gold Tier of the Pass Royale unlocks the Heavy Metal tower skin at Tier 48, which has a unique mix of skulls and speakers. Can we go ahead and say this is a ‘Banger’? Play some AC/DC music, please!
Emotes and Banners
Six new emotes will be coming, which will be following the Rock theme. Alongside, there are 40 brand-new banners available. There are 16 in the Banner Box, 16 for sale, 4 in the Season Shop, and 2 for Diamond Pass Royale owners.
Season Shop and Card Boosts
The Season Shop will return with some fantastic deals, which can be obtained by exchanging season tokens. Along with the cards on offer, banners and emotes are also worthwhile investments. Skeletons, Firecracker, and Royal Giant cards are also available in the Season Shop for 500 tokens apiece.
They will join Barbarians as the season’s boosted cards. Mind you, Barbarians and Skeletons have already been confirmed getting the card evolution, so the two might also be some picks to watch out for.
More events and challenges scheduled
Alongside the usual updates, there are some pretty interesting challenges and tournaments scheduled. The Card Evolution is something that is hyped, but the Rock Barbarian event and challenge will be something to look out for. Elite Barbarians will follow the Rock Barbarian challenge later on in the month.
Clash Royale June 2023 Balance Changes
There are some interesting balance changes for this season. Here is the overview of the balance changes for the cards this season.
Buffed Cards
Ice Wizard
A major upgrade for the Ice Wizard with the attack radius increasing to 3.
- Spawn Attack Radius: +20% (2.5→3 tiles)
Night Witch
Well, the Golem NW deck is back from the dead with this buff.
- Death Spawn Bats: 0→1
Skeleton Dragons
They were pretty decent, but now we won’t be surprised if there is an increase in usage.
- Hitpoints: +5.8%
- Spacing: 50% (1→1.5 tiles)
Battle Healer
Pretty great buff, the Spawn Heal looks to be something to look forward to.
- Spawn Heal: 0→95 (L4) and 0→201 (L11)
- Spawn Heal Radius: 0→2.5
Firecracker
A cracker of a buff with a faster hit speed.
- Hitspeed: 0.6→0.55
Nerfed Cards
Goblins
A millisecond delay looks okay but makes them less effective at quickly surrounding units.
- Deployment Delay: -50% (0.1s→0.2s)
Goblin Hut
Goblins feeling the wrath of balance changes. Say goodbye to the two friends of the last remaining goblin!
- Death Spawn: 3→1 Spear Goblins
Ice Spirit
Might change some scenarios in the arena.
- Freeze Duration: -7.7% (1.3→1.2)
Mighty Miner
Miner got nerfed, and maybe the brother wanted to follow suit too.
- Hitpoints: -2.2%
Phoenix
Well, at this point, not having Phoenix in balance changes is a surprise. It is continuously getting bullied with balance changes. Looking forward to the day when it is ‘balanced’.
- Hitspeed: -11%
