With each new season in Call of Duty Mobile, Activision introduces plenty of changes, such as new maps, weapons, and more. The game is already approaching Season 14 and has already released the COD Mobile Season 14 test server. With just a few days remaining until the release, the developers have hinted at the inclusion of a new Assault Rifle in COD Mobile named FAMAS, also known as FR 5.56. This weapon will be coming in the Season 14 of the game.
FAMAS (FR 5.56) from Modern Warfare 2 is coming to Call of Duty Mobile
The FAMAS is an assault rifle which featured for the first time in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. It then fetaured in Call of Duty: Black Ops, Call of Duty: Black Ops Declassified, Call of Duty Online, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered.
The tweet does not clarify much on the details and has thus left the players in a dilemma. But, we tell you that it’s none other than the iconic AR named FAMAS (FR 5.56) from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.
About FAMAS (FR 5.56)
The FAMAS is a high damage per bullet weapon. At any range short of fifty meters, the FAMAS will deal 40 damage, dealing a three shot kill, or a two shot kill if hitting the head. The FAMAS will decrease in damage linearly until 62 meters, where it will deal 30 damage, netting a four shot kill, or a three shot kill with headshots. It loses its one burst kill potential at 57 meters, and will always retain one shot kill potential in Hardcore under normal circumstances. The FAMAS has moderate bullet penetration power.
The FAMAS’ rate of fire is overall slow. It fires in a burst fire configuration, and the FAMAS’ overall rate of fire will clock in at only 477 RPM. In each burst, however, the FAMAS’ rate of fire is 1016 RPM. When coupled with the FAMAS’ high damage, its one burst kill gives it a very fast time-to-kill ratio.
When FAMAS (FR 5.56) weapon will arrive in COD Mobile?
The final question that arises is the arrival date of the FAMAS weapon in COD Mobile. Developers have not stated the exact date of release, but we guess that it will arrive in Season 14 of the game.
