COD Mobile is kicking off 2026 with a brand new Season 1, and since winter is here, Frozen Abyss is the way to go. This season is setting the tone for the year ahead with a winter-themed update packed with new events, a fresh Battle Pass, and a brand-new Mythic Operator. Here’s everything you need to know about this season, which is arriving on January 14th, 2026.

Street Fighter Part 2
The Street Fighter collaboration from the 6th Anniversary continues into the new year with a second themed event. This chapter introduces fresh challenges and rewards, including the M4 — Vulcan Blast Weapon Blueprint, the Charm — Charming Guile, and the standout reward, the Prizefighters — Ryu’s Gloves Melee Weapon Blueprint.
Winter Events
Season 1 leans fully into its Frozen Abyss theme with multiple winter-focused events. These include a winter sports-style event that offers rewards such as the AS Val — Ski Slope Weapon Blueprint and the Otter — Slope Drifter Operator Skin.
Secret Cache Catch-Up Event
A new Secret Cache Catch-Up event arrives for players who may have missed earlier rewards. This event offers another chance to unlock past Secret Cache items, along with newly added rewards like a Season 1 weapon camo and the Legendary Striker weapon that was introduced during Season 11 last year.
COD Mobile Season 1 2026: Battle Pass and Challenge Pass
The Frozen Abyss Battle Pass brings a full set of winter-themed rewards across both free and premium tiers, including new Operator Skins, Weapon Blueprints, Calling Cards, and additional Call of Duty Points.
Free Battle Pass
The free tiers introduce the LC10 SMG, a fast-firing weapon known for its low recoil and consistency in close to mid-range fights. Alongside it is the Inflatable Decoy, a new Tactical item that deploys a balloon decoy to distract enemies and create openings during combat. You can also earn winter-themed cosmetics, blueprints, and Vault Coins through progression.
Premium Battle Pass
The Premium Pass expands the Frozen Abyss theme with Operator Skins like American Bulldog — Polar Explorer and Portnova — Arctic Adventurer. Weapon Blueprints continue the icy aesthetic, including Man-O-War — Tidal Lance and LC10 — Tracker, built around the new Season 1 weapon.
Players subscribed to Ground Forces receive additional rewards such as the Polina — Arctic Shadow Operator Skin, Peacekeeper MK2 — Winter Expedition Weapon Blueprint, and Backpack 3 — Winter Expedition, along with XP boosts and store discounts.
Challenge Pass
The Season 1 Challenge Pass tasks us with completing Standard, Special, and Elite Missions throughout the season. Tokens earned from these missions can be exchanged for seasonal rewards, including a new UAV Scorestreak Reskin and a Frag Grenade Reskin.
Store Update: Mythic Codename: Lazarus and more
New Mythic Draw
Season 1 introduces the Mythic Codename: Lazarus — Cosmic Wrath Operator Skin. This demonic soldier returns from the dead with a striking design that emphasizes its undead theme. The Mythic Draw also includes the Legendary FAL — Aether Fracture Weapon Blueprint and other themed cosmetics.
Mythic Weapon Voting Champion
The Grim Ending Mythic Draw makes its return as the winner of the Mythic Weapon Voting event that began in Season 10. Featuring the AK117 — Grim Ending, this Mythic arrives as part of the new Champion Mythic Drop and will be available in the Store starting January 23, 2026, for a limited time.
Other Draws and Store Content
Season 1 also introduces additional Draws, including the next Four Horsemen release featuring Artery — Death and the Echo — Eternal Grasp Weapon Blueprint. Other Store offerings include Operator Skins such as Phantom — Cryo Shadow, Minotaur — Polar Rage, and Dusk — Frost Cinder, paired with Weapon Blueprints like EM2 — Frigid Dominion, HVK-30 — Polar Circuit, and LC10 — Glacial Ash.
Battle Pass Vault
Two Battle Passes join the Vault lineup this season. The Day of Reckoning Battle Pass from Season 2 2021 returns with rewards like Mace — Back for More, Mara — Awakening, AS Val — Judgement, and M4LMG — Checkpoint.
Alongside it, the Soldier’s Tale Battle Pass from Season 1 2024 also becomes available, bringing back Death Angel Alice — Wonder Lost, Artery — Heartless Queen, Striker — Death Spiral, and LW3 Tundra — Red Queen’s Rebuke.
